DJH S1E1: Kiss Me Steph
Heather’s multicolored paint stroke shorts = “aws”, as Spinner would say.
Would I wear it? – Yeah! In fact, I probably have worn something similar (as a child in the early 90s).

Stephanie arrives and school and removes her modest attire to reveal this orange striped crop top, cinched in at the center of her chest with a clip. Forget a gradual transition!
She then packs on blue eyeshadow and teases out her hair for good measure.
And somehow, I can’t help but admire this.
Would I wear it? – Definitely!

Caitlin looks super cute in a belted white dress with a teal cardigan. She’s accessorizing with a white (trademark) headband, a long string of pearls, and gold hoop earrings.
Melanie looks a lot less interesting today, with a white oversized short sleeve button down tucked into a khaki skirt.
Would I wear it? – Caitlin’s outfit, definitely! It’s so cool! I am also super lucky because I have earring like that, that my grandmother gave me! / Melanie’s outfit, sure!
Ensemble score / Caitlin: 8

Annie in a red hat, gold hoop earrings, and gold lipstick. Note the gold star on her cheek.
Annie, however minor on the show, always had a noticeable style, so I will try to capture her where I can.
Would I wear it? – The hat? No. The earrings? Heck yeah! The lipstick? Sure!

I freakin hate Liz. Like so much. But sometimes she has style.
Liz (Okay, I guess she’s not technically Liz at this point) in an oversized white tee on the first day of school.
I can definitely see fashion repeating itself nowadays.
Even though this ensemble is very simple, there seems to be intention behind it, so has a really cool vibe.
Would I wear it? – Well, of course! Who wouldn’t?

This is the first time we see Stephanie Kaye. As most of you know, this is not her true style, but I still found it was important to include.
-Oversized white short sleeve button down, with a fuschia sweater tied around the neck, and a long blue skirt.-
Would I wear this? – You know what? Maybe! Looks really comfortable. And it’s almost in style today! I find it a bit too “goody-goody” – but of course, so does Steph!
Would you?
Let me start with a little introduction. I am a diehard fan of all Degrassi (well, up until about TNG Season 9 but that’s another rant for another day). I’ve had so much wardrobe envy & appreciation, especially from DJH and DH that I decided to focus on Degrassi fashion in a blog by doing all my own screen captures and descriptions. Maybe even one day I’ll do some online shopping to recreate some looks!
Then I realized if I can find something to say about Degrassi every day (to people who don’t really want to listen), why not write it in a blog? This blog will also have opinions, thoughts, rants, raves, and gushing.
So here goes. Welcome to Broomheadz.
