How chilling that this is our last Claude post. I know nobody really likes him, but the show never gave us a chance to like him either. Regardless, as I’ve said before, he does have style, and that’s why we’re here today. First, he’s trying out for the talent show in his ultimate pirate getup. And the day he does the deed, he wears these amazing winklepickers as usual, with black pants, a black vest, and a white (I want to say blouse) with a red ribbon around the arm. He makes a final haunting appearance in his pirate shirt.
I kind of hate seeing Claude with his tail between his legs, begging for mercy, for his last half on the show. But I guess his first half, he’s raring to go for his causes, I want to say in a bit of an ignorant way. So I guess neither Claude is that great. But hey, at least he’s got style. Check the leather (probably pleather) jacket, purple tee, and skull suspenders.
I know people really hate Claude. I used to too, with burning rage. The more I watched the show, the more I forgot what I was so mad about. I know he’s kind of a poser, and I know he kind of screws over Caitlin, but it’s not like he’s out to gether; he just cares about saving his own ass more than hers. I dunno, I’m conflicted. Also, the writers didn’t really give us a chance to get to know anything good about him. We just know he’s an uber-negative activist who doesn’t always know what he’s talking about. Well, regardless of all of that, Claude is one of my favorite fashionistas of the show. First off, Claude wears a button down, his skill suspenders, some pants that are tighter than Wheels’s, two belts, and those freakin awesome winklepickers which are still in style af and I want some. Next, his first-kiss-with-Caitlin outfit – a Bauhaus shirt, some more tight black pants, his winklepickers, suspenders, and I think this is a bullet belt but I can’t tell for sure!
So Claude’s style never disappoints, even though he wasn’t the best boyfriend. Here we see an assortment of his tight-pant, suspender, belt, and other jewelry types of getups. Oh, complete with the winklepickers, we absolutely cannot forget those. The winklepickers prove to me that he is completely legit. Oh wait, except he’s not. Well, his style is legit, let’s go with that. Also, idk…. should I know who the guy on his shirt is? I feel like I should? I mean, it’s not someone as obvious as Bowie, so I don’t feel like TOO much of an idiot. Someone fill me in so I can respond with,”oh yeah, I thought that might be him!”
DH S1E2: A New Start Part 2
Our favorite punk pirate is back, wearing a button down, unbuttoned to slightly reveal a tee underneath, and all tucked into some tight black pants with two belts, but just in case the belts fail in holding his tight pants up, he’s got the suspenders again for good measure. To finish the look, he wears a necklace and his dangly earring. I’m poking fun a bit but I truly love Claude’s style, personally.
With a new school comes new faces. So let’s welcome to the stage Claude. I know Claude is controversial. But I tell ya what, he’s got one of the coolest and most discernible fashion senses on the show. Get ready for some punk rock pirate Shakespearean stylings out of this one. We kick off with a blue button down, a dangly earring, and some skull and crossbones suspenders. I know you can find suspenders like this easily nowadays, but I can’t help but think these were a rare find back in 1989.
