Jimmy is first in a blue polo with a sweatband, then some kinda athletic lookin’ zip up jacket, and finally it appears Craig has dressed Jimmy up too, in some ruffly shirt and jacket for the wedding.
Here we are, in Ellie’s suck era. Like, she sucks. And also, as Alex once called her, she’s “a suck”. She’s traded in her crimper for a waver, she’s simping over a f*ckboy, and she’s cringily playing the drums. First she’s shown in a long sleeve shirt under short sleeve shirt under long sleeve shirt (Family Guy reference anyone?) Then we see her in her O-ring choker. And now let’s talk about THE outfit. Even though Ellie is already being drained of her style and personality at this point, I do enjoy this outfit and the *jaw drop* reveal they do of it. However I just noticed the sleeves don’t look very conducive to drumming. So what they’ve done with Ellie’s style here, is she’s basically a normie, but in darker colors. Though subtle, this dress is very cool with the off-the-shoulder sleeves, corset buttons, and ruffly layered skirt. I actually feel a bit sorry for her right here. She was so hopeful.
Introducing Diane. This utter babe is apparently 22. When am I finally gonna look 22? (Ok I looked her up and apparently she really was 24 at the age of filming this. Not trying to say she looks old but she looks very womanly, like in the best possible way.) Diane is for some reason interested in Joey. She states a good case for it though. She’s tired of dating boys. Fair enough. Imagine dating a 22-year-old dude. Anyway, I really like Diane. She’s a ray of sunshine in Joey’s life. Although I do prefer Joey + Sidney.
First Diane wears a pink tank. Then she’s at Joey’s in a silvery, shiny tank with a cami underneath. For the wedding, since I guess she is a bridesmaid, she wears this pinky spaghetti strap cocktail dress and a bun. And finally, she wears a rainbow basket purse and a tight-fitting top with a tie at the collar. I definitely had some shirts like this.
This is a very Craiggy episode, so enjoy this giant fashion spread. Sadly his style isn’t TOO much to speak of, but like I’ve said before, it’s very realistic of a teenage rocker boy from the time. Not overstylized, as he’s focused on other things. He does KIND of look simulated sometimes with all these obvious yet abstract graphic “rocker” tees, like the headphones one. But I really feel like those jeans and shoes are Jake’s. And maybe that Headbangers Ball shirt too 🙂 Also, please note the outfit he wears for the wedding his band plays at. It’s like, 70s reminiscent, but this time for good reason since they’re playing “funk”. Man, what do you guys think here, when it comes to how Craig is treating Ellie? What an icky triangle.
As we often do, we wrap up this episode with Toby. Even though he has spiked hair and baggy clothes, he still looks like a nerd somehow. But yeah his style is a nice example of a neutral 2000s norm – where as JT is much more preppy.
Spinner is the pariah of Degrassi. Not really sure what Darcy saw in him, ya know? Did she feel sorry for him? Did he seem like a good candidate for Jesus? Or did she like, just think he was cool? Anyway, he still dresses in this skater-chic style. Minus the chic! Haha. Spiky hair, wristbands, ball bearings, and piercings. And of course, Casual Khakis.
Here’s our rando roundup from Foolin’. First is Frienship Club, looking extra creepy. Then a front steps shot featuring flared jeans and baggy jeans. Then the drugstore cashier, looking extra judgy when JT buys a pregnancy test. She’s got highlights, a side part, and side bangs. Oh and here’s this baby, who is not judging JT.
