Anyway, instead of line iteming each outfit piece, let’s zoom out and look at this color palette. It’s so… MUTED! It’s so unlike Joey! Khakis and tans, and even the actual colors he wears are drained of vibrancy! Yuck.

I DO feel a little bad for Joey… here he is thinking everything is going well – that Caitlin loves him and that Craig is managing life with his new diagnosis. But actually his life is about to crumble before his eyes. He wears muted colors of shirts and ties for work, then he’s in his typical ringer tee, and finally he sees Craig off to “England” in a burgundy long sleeve tee.

Joey is seen in a grey painting tee, then he rudely barges into a wedding that he’s not invited to. Remember, he’s just there because Craig destroyed a hotel room or stole his credit card or something. It definitely could have waited. But instead he invaded the wedding and yelled at Ashley. He’s RUDE. The end. Oh yeah and he’s wearing a red polo and a grandfather jacket.

Ah yes, it’s time for more sad adult Joey. And he’s even sadder than normal, because his used car lot is going down the toilet. This is where Craig takes it upon himself to summon Joey’s ex girlfriend Sydney, a realtor, to sell the house in hopes of keeping the family afloat. So stupid, what high school kid would do that? Sydney isn’t even a home realtor. Eyeroll. First, Joey is in a suit, and next, he’s in a v-neck tee and jeans. His style is just so… barren. Like his life.

All the pizazz being drained from Joey’s wardrobe is reflective of all the color drained from his life since high school. First he’s in this shirt that looks like a bowling shirt, then he’s in a blue raglan, and last he’s in an awful mauve shirt and tie and what looks like a brown jacket. It’s hard to tell since she’s always in his dark shadowy house.
