We aren’t finishing this episode strong or anything, just a passing glimpse of Spinner in cargo pants and a tee. They’re just making it a point of showing he’s glued to Darcy.

I had to just google this to be sure, but this gal on the right in these first two pics will eventually become Carla, who Alex Nunez dates! Isn’t that funny? I’m going to go ahead and put her down as Carla because I’m going to live in a fantasy where this IS Carla and she just hasn’t met Alex yet. I think I know this actor from some other show, too, like maybe Radio Free Roscoe? She’s really gorgeous, and wears a v-neck floral dress. She’s one of Diane’s friends, by the way. As is the blonde next to her. And in the last pic is Diane’s sister, the bride, who kind of looks like a square.

Peter the Creep is dressing like a super preppy rich boy. Funny how there aren’t any other Richies around for him to hang with. Here he is in a sweater over a collared shirt with some plaid pants.

Do I say it every time? I just love Marco’s style in this era. It screams confidence. And it conveys that Marco runs in circles you know nothing about, ya know? It’s like, alternative almost. First he’s a bit more casual for band practice, wearing a Los Angeles graphic tee and a beanie. The next ensemble is more elaborate. He’s wearing layered polos with the collars popped, plenty of accessories, a bandanna, a low-riding belt, his man capris, and flip flops. At the mall he’s got his hair all curly and a sick blue soccer-lookin tee. And finally, he looks very 70s-inspired for the wedding, in this powder blue shirt and these sick white loafers.

Manny time!! She still has this really cool shag haircut, the bangs of which can also be swept to the side. First she wears this long sleeve front-tie shirt over a matching cami. But some on, who cares about that, when we have this next outfit to analyze?! This is what Manny wears to the wedding: a silky, green, lingerie-inspired top, a sequined skirt, huge chandelier earrings, and strappy heels. Honestly, did high school students ever really dress this hot? I don’t know man, it seems kind of unrealistic. But, she looks lovely, and we can consider THIS *the* official outfit that wins Craig back. Manny’s green and sequins beats Ellie’s black lace. And our last outfit here is, Manny’s green pajamas and houseshoes.

Our charming mom-to-be Liberty is running around like a dark raincloud, wearing zipup jackets like there’s no tomorrow. She’s also doing everything she can to lose a certain accessory – JT.

The way I groaned when Jiberty walked on screen. They are SUCH a buzzkill right now. Uggghhh, most unenjoyable pregnancy storyline ever. Anyway, JT is just doing his preppy boy thing, with that hat hair and layered shirts. And he’s dying inside as Liberty creates life inside.

Joey time! He’s getting a little sunshine in his life, meeting Diane. First he’s in this very grandpa-looking suit. But when he’s not dressed like a grandpa, he wears a series of t-shirts. Craig forces Joey to wear a blazer for Diane, which was hilarious. Oh yeah, and karma finally got him when he got busted buying condoms. Ew. And then he dresses up again for the wedding. I know I say men’s fashion doesn’t really change, but I definitely see a shift in the silhouettes of men’s suits. They just looked so baggy and untailored back then, and I think that kind of goes along with the fact that we generally were wearing oversized everything. Having a smaller husband, I know. And fortunately slim-fit options are really helpful for dudes who lived in this time when a men’s “small” was still too big.

Jimmy is first in a blue polo with a sweatband, then some kinda athletic lookin’ zip up jacket, and finally it appears Craig has dressed Jimmy up too, in some ruffly shirt and jacket for the wedding.

Here we are, in Ellie’s suck era. Like, she sucks. And also, as Alex once called her, she’s “a suck”. She’s traded in her crimper for a waver, she’s simping over a f*ckboy, and she’s cringily playing the drums. First she’s shown in a long sleeve shirt under short sleeve shirt under long sleeve shirt (Family Guy reference anyone?) Then we see her in her O-ring choker. And now let’s talk about THE outfit. Even though Ellie is already being drained of her style and personality at this point, I do enjoy this outfit and the *jaw drop* reveal they do of it. However I just noticed the sleeves don’t look very conducive to drumming. So what they’ve done with Ellie’s style here, is she’s basically a normie, but in darker colors. Though subtle, this dress is very cool with the off-the-shoulder sleeves, corset buttons, and ruffly layered skirt. I actually feel a bit sorry for her right here. She was so hopeful.
