Oof, sorry – this isn’t a very exciting post to end on, but here’s Toby “graduating” in the movie. For some reason he didn’t wear his glasses.

Here’s Spinner, working catering for the movie, wearing his Dot uniform and Spinner-esque jewelry. Looking confused like usual.

Spike seems to be doing hair for the Kevin Smith movie. Man this episode seems like it was a lotta work. She has spiral curls and wears this strange top that has a diagonal seam across the chest and a tie at the waist. We also see her briefly at the fake graduation in a tee with a horizontal chest stripe.

Craig’s first friend as an official homeless guy is Skinny. Skinny is a talented bucket drummer and Craig is really excited to replace Spinner. Unfortunately, Skinny doesn’t have the best tendencies. He’s kind of a fan of assault and robbery. But hey, we’re not here to judge. We’re here to assess the style. And Skinny, well, his attire isn’t in too great of shape. But at least he’s layered up for winter.

Okay, time for the rando roundup. First are a few shots of this lovely lady who is also acting in Jay & Silent Bob Go Canadian Eh. Oh I think she replaced Caitlin because Caitlin can’t act. Anyway, I know this gal from Clerks 2. She’s hot, right? Well that’s Jennifer Schwalbach Smith, Kevin Smith’s wife in real life. Kind of an awkward Degrassi set, right? Like, she’s here with her husband, who’s playing himself, but playing an unmarried version of himself, and kissing the Degrassi character he’s crushing on? Weird. Anyway, she’s got that nice golden blonde hair of the time. Next is a business man getting into his car in the streets of Toronto. These streets look admittedly bleak in this episode. Craig and his new BFF were thinking about robbing the guy. I felt kinda sorry for him, even though he’s rich af. Thankfully he peeps those two ragamuffins from afar and hurries away. Next we see Joey pleading with the cops, and finally we see this guy working the homeless shelter with some dreads.

It’s pretty interesting that Manny was made to look so different for her role in the film. They put her in yellow for the dance, which she never wears. Her hair and makeup look different. And finally she wears a graphic tank and pink miniskirt. And apparently now she’s becoming a star, known as “that actress from the Kevin Smith movie”.

Kevin finally gave himself time to shine here on Degrassi. He wears a series of huge bulky jackets and his round framed glasses. I kinda like the hair better, when he’s Silent Bob.

Sometimes I question my choice in showing any glimpse of any character shown in any episode. But I guess I’m 7 years deep at this point, gotta keep going. Here’s JT with a shaggy head of hair and what seems to be more of his normal preppy attire.

Poor Joey.. Poor Joey? Am I saying that right? That doesn’t seem like 2 words that should go together. But it IS a little sad, what he’s going through here. Anyway, instead of line iteming each outfit piece, let’s zoom out and look at this color palette. It’s so… MUTED! It’s so unlike Joey! Khakis and tans, and even the actual colors he wears are drained of vibrancy! Yuck.

Jay is dressed like… Jay really. First he’s in a beanie, which he doesn’t take off for prom – lol. And then he “graduates” in the movie, wearing that all red robs.
