 Never Gonna Give You Up

This is the subplot where Spinner wants JT to go away and stop being friends with Paige. Idk why y’all like this dude so much but whatever. First, he’s wearing those shorts. You remember these shorts, back from the day. They’re so long and baggy that they’re almost pants. Ha, I think these are hilarious. Then he’s just got a tee and zip up hoodie. I type “zip up hoodie” so much we might as well start calling them ZUHs. His hair looks gross as usual. He does make an appearance in his The Dot uniform. And then JT rips Spinner’s pants off in a totally hetero way, revealing some classic stereotypical boxers with hearts on them as if we were in some kind of cartoon. Also note the silhouette of those skate shoes that were IT back in the day. The flatter the bottoms, the rounder the toes, the puffier the tongue, the cooler you were.

Here’s the rando roundup for this episode, AKA the miscellaneous shots I gathered. First we’re outside The Dot and we see a skater dude on the left, and then a couple. The girl wears low-rise flares and the dude is all baggy everything. Next are a couple people hopping off the bus, looking like real-life high schoolers of the time., demonstrating the trends of spaghetti straps, zip-up hoodies, and cross-body bags. And finally, it’s the mean manager of The Dot, wearing a Dot shirt.

Tears are Not Enough, Part 2
Aired: 2003

First we see Spinner is his caf uniform. Then a grey tee. Then a robe at the tanning salon – where he did NOT enjoy himself. And finally though, at the dance, the spray tan doesn’t look that bad in my opinion. GOOD BYE SPINNER’S 2ND-BEST HAIR!!!!

Tears are Not Enough, Part 1

Craig’s evil dad mostly wears suits, and those anxiety-inducing square glasses. He’s also seen in his doctor outfit. I love that little moment because it shows the caring, nurturing side to him. Which of course is a major contrast to his hateful abusive tendencies. People are so complex. But honestly… heck we will just wait for part 2.

Fight for your Right
Aired: 2003

Spinner steals from Jimmy in this episode, oof. So first he wears a long sleeve tee with like, shoulder stripes, and accessorizes with his man necklace. Then we see him browsing the internet, wishing he could buy some “Triple 5 Soul” attire like Jimmy’s. The brand, by the way, is Canadian and is still going! Then we see his famous dragon hoodie, which he gets made fun of for wearing too much. Dude, I remember getting made fun of for that too. Whose idea was that to be mean about wearing something you like several times? Whatever. Then he’s in some kind of Nascar-lookin long sleeve shirt. And, if you’ve never seen the episode, this last shot should show how it all turned out – he’s in a caf uniform because things went to crap.

Sheila tries her best to stand up for her potentially genetically-modified “Frankenstein food” she serves at the caf. So we see her here in her usual attire, doing a promotional video for the caf. And the last shot is her getting caught in the foodfight crossfire.

First, Mohammed our resident taunter and shamer is seriously prancing around with his collar popped. He’s also a wrestler so he’s next seen is his windbreaker. And finally, ice cream boy is taken down a few pegs, his baseball tee accented with a work hat and apron.

I mean, you know the drill by now. Sheila wears an orange polo, a white apron, and a hair net. That’s all we’re ever gonna get. I can’t resist including her though. This episode is extra special because she gives Jimmy and Spinner boner advice.
