We wrap up this episode with Snake. Wearing button down shirts. Though I do like the yellow there.

Ugh. Here he is folks, my most-hated Degrassi character of all time. Yes, friends, I think I’ll say it right here and now; I hate him more than Liz O’Rourke. He is just an all-around irredeemable disgrace and I can’t stand a thing about him. I actually save his pictures as “shithead” instead of “Derek”. The fact she shares the spelling of the name of Derek Wheeler infuriates me. Why can’t he at least be Derrick or something? Anyway, it’s hard to just talk about his stupid clothes. But apparently he’s an athlete so here he is in a series of athletic clothes and stuff. Ugh.

Here are the randoms from this episode! First is a front steps shot, showing baggy boy jeans, flared girl jeans, and layered shirts. Then is this college fair lady, totally 00s office chic, with like, THOSE eyebrows… you know. You know the ones. That’s all I’m gonna say. And lastly, Paige’s mom’s friend from Banting is here with a nice 60s inspired hairdo and a suit. How the heck did Paige not destroy her chances of getting in there, btw?

It’s so weird – Peter looks way more like a “Peter” than a “Jamie” (the actor’s real name). He’s sitting here in detention, because apparently you only get detention for distributing you-know-what in 2005. He wears a bright yellow polo as if it can hide his devious nature. And check out that shell bracelet! lol.

Okay, Paige is not really the most relatable teenager at this point. The way she gets ready for this date and waits at a bougie bar looks like the life of a 30-year-old. But hey, what do I know, I grew up in rural & suburban Alabama.
Anyway, the first outfit is the nice greasy work uniform. Then Paige wears this blue blazer that looks to be a very light/acid washed denim, which she wears over a baby blue blouse and white cami. Her teeth are also super-white. I swear, Paige looks just darling in pastels. She hurriedly gets ready for her date with Matt. She puts in a lot of effort, wearing pointy-toe feels, a black strapless skin-tight dress with a shawl, and a black necklace. She looks amazing but like a real adult. And then Matt dumps her because she showers too much.
Next, on the steps of Degrassi, Paige is wearing layers again – a floral blouse layered over a longer cami – that was such a thing. And some flare jeans, with some pointy-toe shoes that look way too uncomfortable for school. This is where she gets high with Alex before the college fair. I think this is arguably a pretty accurate representation of getting high. It’s hard to explain and hard to portray, especially since it seems to be a different experience for everyone, but I really like how they did it here in this episode.

OMG. Mr. Oleander has returned and he looks rougher than ever. But apparently it’s all intentional. What a strange strange man. I wonder whatever became of him. He was an academic that came off the rails and chose the life of a nomad instead. On the surface it could seem like a tragic story but what if he’s much happier this way? Well, regardless, he IS a man of questionable character up to this very last moment – the moment he sketches out on Paige forever. Fashion-wise he’s giving bum – unkempt and wearing many colorless layers. Well, bye Matt.

Marco’s style is so cool. It’s so intentional, so eclectic, so multi-faceted and layered. I really do like it, because we have a severe lack of stylish guys on the show. In my opinion, it’s not exactly about whether or not Marco’s clothes are my taste. It’s more about the fact that I can tell there’s sooo much curation behind it. It’s got Marco’s intentions and self-expression so strongly. There seems to be so much autonomy behind his ensembles. He’s not just wearing what’s “cool” or what’s easy, he is experimental and I respect that so much. The first outfit is a very 2000s looking striped polo with a shark tooth necklace. And lovely curly hair. Next – you know Marco is the king of capris – he wears these cropped jeans, flip flops, and a green jacket layered over some wild green printed shirt. He seems to combine boho with athletic and it’s so odd but cool!
