My baby girl Sydney is back! What a queen, not only does she come back to help her failure of an ex, she does it humbly and with dignity! She’s just perfect. Imagine how weird it must be for her to walk around in that house. She is so mature though. Her hair is smooth, her side part is fresh, and her layers are poppin’. She wears a khaki jacket over a horizontal-stripe blouse. Then she’s seen in a blue chevron-type top.
Oh yeah side note, it was kinda weird for Craig to summon Sydney, especially since she’s not a residential real estate agent. But hey, I appreciate any reason to see her.

This is a very important post. Spinner has new hair. It’s quite the infamous ‘do. But my opinion is, this is Spinner’s BEST hairstyle. And he ALMOST – almost – looks cute. But he’s not though. Anyway, he’s in FULL vicious bully mode. Sporting this like, long mohawk? and his usual skateboarder-style attire including a ball bearing necklace. Still looking smug as ever.

Oh Snake, you think you know things, but you don’t. He’s wearing well, less ugly than usual clothes at least. Some blue shirts which are a nice step up from those yellowy-beige tees and whatnot.

Even Sean played a hand, or at least an indirect hand, in bullying Rick. But from what I saw, he was not a major player like, Spinner for example. But here he is in a white tee, zip up hoodie, and beanie, not knowing what’s about to happen.

Poor Rick’s mom. She seems so clueless, but also so emotional. I don’t know why she strikes me as a woman who has no idea what she’s doing. But yeah she’s wearing a dark blouse with bell-like sleeves and jeans. And her life is about to change for the WORST.

Yeouch, what a post to come back from vacation with. Sooo yeah, this is Rick before the world is changed forever. First he’s wearing a freaking beret – you may know how I feel about those – with a messenger bag and just a lot of grey. Again, STILL don’t know why he came back to Degrassi all hunky dory, and DO NOT know why he’s smiling right now. The fact he keeps crawling back to each new day thinking things are going to go differently astounds me. Next he’s in a tan shirt over a brown long sleeve and khakis. Hard to imagine he’s about to break.
Okay, and you know what? My fashion commentary is actually appropriate here because this suit, makes me feel. I don’t know WHAT it is about him getting dressed by his mommy in this oversized, clunky, boxy navy suit that makes me want to cry. No one else is dressing up for trivia night – but this is super important to Rick so he’s dressing for it like it’s freaking church. But, he doesn’t fit well into the suit. He doesn’t really have a sense of style. The suit is like, not cute – if I recall, no one would be wearing a navy suit about this time period. But, this was his dad’s suit so it’s extra special. Damn, which makes it hurt even more when the suit gets covered with paint. But let me back track and just say, when someone dresses up for anything, I just feel kind of sad. It’s their way of wearing on the outside how they feel about something on the inside. And aside from all of Rick’s problems, both in his brain and with his social existence, he was excited about trivia and put on this giant dorky suit expecting the best. Maybe that’s why dressing up gets me – they’re expecting the best, ya know? Dressing up looks like hope, like confidence. And to see it all come crashing down, is a little sad on almost anyone. I empathize with Rick, a LITTLE, but don’t excuse anything of course.

Random person roundup! Okay, first is Joey’s realtor who, honestly, dresses nothing like anyone we’ve seen on the show. I guess she dresses like the 80s tbh. A shoulderpadded suit, a neck scarf, and big hair. She seems nice enough but she and Joey were really not meshing. Next is this Quest for the Best host — lol wait, I think this is called Whack Your Brain. Come on, seriously, could they not give us ONE little nod to the original?! Sheesh. Anyway, his suit is ALL brown. Then an array of students in the audience, wearing things like puka shells, track jackets, and spiked hair.

Raditch got a haircut! Oooof, right, this is his not-so-shining moment where he dismisses Rick’s concerns about being bullied. Ya know, I wonder how Raditch actually felt about the aftermath. All that seemed to happen is he was annoyed when he got fired.

Ah yes, it’s time for more sad adult Joey. And he’s even sadder than normal, because his used car lot is going down the toilet. This is where Craig takes it upon himself to summon Joey’s ex girlfriend Sydney, a realtor, to sell the house in hopes of keeping the family afloat. So stupid, what high school kid would do that? Sydney isn’t even a home realtor. Eyeroll. First, Joey is in a suit, and next, he’s in a v-neck tee and jeans. His style is just so… barren. Like his life.
