Melanie time – This is probably exactly what you were expecting. However, Melanie rarely dons purple so this was a bit of a change – a purple long sleeve button down under a red vest and tie. Interesting, but still a harsh color combo as per usual.
Plaid grey shirt, cream vest, no tie, still Melanie.
A Melanie-green shirt with a floral vest and white hair clip. Bravo.

I have GOT to say, I really LOVE Maya’s hair in junior high. She is a total babe and her hair is huge and high. It’s on the same level of awesome as the twins’. I wish I could scrounge up more shots of her, better lit shots too, but I gotta work with what I can get. Maya is pink on pink today, with a sweet ribbed pink sweater and pink hair accessory.

Oh hey, Max is still randomly on the show, and gets VERY little screentime, much less a line! Here we have a dark sweater with a white collar underneath, and some light wash jeans with, surprise, white tennies!

Here’s Louella with dark hair, and her janitor’s uniform, complete with ankle pants and white shoes. Why janitors in the 80s would wear white shoes I will never know.

Lucy!!! First off, we have Lucy in a yellow top with a super cute black overall jumper – would you call this a jumper in North America? Anyway, I love overalls/suspenders/etc. so this is great. She accessorizes with a yellow scarf that creates a turtleneck look, and a silver flower pendant, and, it’s the 80s so scrunchie.
I am completely fixated with the idea of wearing a shirt with your own name on the front. I think it is hilarious! In fact, back in college, before I knew this was a real thing (you know, since airbrushed t-shirts you get made at the beach have your name on the BACK,) I made myself a shirt with my name on the front because I thought that was the silliest idea. Lo and behold, it’s a total thing at Degrassi. So here’s Lucy in a yellow cropped sweatshirt decorated with sparkly curly cursive “Lucy” splayed across the front. She’s got a pink shirt underneath, a big ol’ pink scarf around her head, some dark jeans, RED socks (what?) and black slip-ons.
We are taking a break from the yellow now. I’m loving this getup as well. White mid-length skirt, tights, a baggy green sweater with a belt around the waist, a shimmery neck scarf, and a big cute bow on the head!
The lighting here is weird so it’s hard to make out Lucy’s skirt. She’s wearing her purple jacket, and the skirt has ruffled layers and looks like it might be blue and pink! Wish I could have seen it better.

Something about Liz’s style – it’s so simple but seems so deliberate and BA. So today it’s just a grey pullover hoodie haphazardly pulled over a white tee and jeans.

What’s an LD post without a flannel and her big red purse we’ve all come to know and love?
Here’s LD in a simple ribbed blue sweater.
We saw this pink and grey striped long sleeve too before, in all its wrinkly glory. For outerwear LD adds a navy pullover, nice and sporty.
I love this shot of the skinny light jeans and white tennies side by side.

Wow, I uploaded this picture and was like “WHOA it’s Kathleen’s butt!” Obviously it draws the most attention in this shot, but the butt is not the purpose of this photo. We will go from the bottom up in this outfit review – light blue trousers, a grey and teal striped sweater (these pants and top are sort of a weird color combo), a white collar and a ribbon in her ponytail.
This white turtleneck with teal and navy argyle designs is a perfect portrayal of Kathleen’s personality.
Wait, I take that back. This BROWN little house on the prairie dress might be the perfect manifestation of Kathleen as a garment.
