It’s hard to make out in this lighting, but first Lucy dons a blue tee and ruffly floral skirt. Then, oh then, is this perfect ensemble. She wears this cropped floral top with cutoff jean shorts, a side braid, dangly earrings, and little white Keds. I just LOVE this. I need it now.

Whenever I think of this episode, I can hear Lucy’s voice in my head saying, “Bye-bye, junior high!” We get a couple of shots of her at school, first in this turquoise ruffly top and then in a deep berry blazer. But who cares, because for the freakin dance she is ALL sequined out and lookin fooooiiiine.

These are the posts I enjoy making the most. (Hey, that rhymed!) Lucy, Lucy, Lucy. My love for you is eternal. I gotta say, she was way different in Junior High. It wasn’t exactly a realistic shift in who her character became. She went from IDGAF-about-school-and-I-shoplift to valedictorian. Whatever. Once she gets over the shoplifting and “too cool for school” thing, she’s perfect. IMO 😉 Anyway, on to the outfit. First she wears this cartoony jacket with a headband, and then, ahhh this gorgeous yellow and black v-neck sweater with a sweet side braid tied with a yellow ribbon. Lovely, Lucy!

Lucy wears her Scum shirt under a jacket we’ve seen before and will see again – the one with those cartoon dogs and stuff all over it. She is also sporting some nice big hoop earrings!

Lucy is almost always pleasing to my fashion preferences. I love the look today: that magical skater skirt in a playground color scheme, the personalized “Lucy” cropped sweater, and these awesome little slip on shoes with white ankle socks. It seemed like back then, the shoes didn’t have to be perfect with the outfit. Like shoes weren’t as important or something. I dunno, I really like the easygoing shoe thing. I don’t know if I’m making any sense. But like, you could wear dirty tennis shoes with white socks and a dress and no one thought you were crazy it seems.

Omg Lucy is just cute as a button in this bubblegum ensemble of a light pink sleeveless crop top and high waisted pencil skirt layered over darker pink leggings and undershirt. Definitely a Broomheadz favorite right here.

So first, Lucy shuts down Paul the Perv in a green skirt, pink top, and crazy jacket covered in weird cartoon animals.
The next ensemble I find a bit more mature. A beautiful yellow dress with a black belt and brownish button down as a jacket.
And finally, Lucy’s outfit wasn’t SUPPOSED to be a date outfit, but it kinda turned into a date. She wears spandex black shirts, and a big greenish sweater.

DJH S3E6: He Ain’t Heavy…

Lucy is adorable in this pink ensemble. She wears a cute pink top (I’m not sure of the appropriate words to describe its silhouette) with a big black belt and a spotted pink peasant skirt. A green undershirt is peeping out and her ponytail is tied with a pink bow.
Lucy is still having problems getting her friends back, but at least she looks super cute! When Stephanie Kaye was having a bad day, her wardrobe showed it. But Lucy still shows self-respect with some cute outfits. Her hair is tied with a transparent pink scarf. She wears a pink tank under her ruffly teal peasant top, which she matches with a colorblock skirt and the black belt again.
