Just like her counterpart, Melanie here is publicly shamed for wearing underwear like a normal human being. I love that defeated look on her face!

Who knew florals and checkers went together? Melanie did. I tell ya, she’s all about color for sure. I’m enjoying this peachy tee-and-cardi look though, complete with a matching skirt. But oh, for the dance, she is lookin like a little girl playing dress up. I can’t make it out well, but it’s some kind of wine-colored off-the-shoulder dress with a shimmery scarf tied over it.

This is an episode chock-full of Melanie, and she so gracefully exemplifies, as Emma Nelson might say, “general pubescent awkwardness”. Her color palette is never something that really resonated with me, but it’s definitely distinct. Let’s jump right in.
Outfit 1 is a maroon cardigan over a blue button down with a weird neck bow thing. The kicker is these crazy plaid pants which she has cuffed to a confusing length, to show off her tall black socks and her little rusty-colored oxfords.
Outfit 2 is the one where she’s really trying to pick up Snake. She’s got a plan to execute and has dressed to seduce. She sports a long sleeved pumpkin colored button down, with a navy floral vest and matching tie. To complete the look she wears a navy skirt and a nice dark red shade of lipstick on her teeth. But seriously though, I feel really bad for Melanie when she has that lipstick on her teeth. We can all relate.
And finally, for Outfit 3, Melanie is cute as a bumblebee with this crazy black and yellow plaid skirt, yellow shirt, and red tie. Always with those harsh colors, man.

Melanie is the star of the freakin show today and look at this wide array of her slightly dorky styles we have to review! First of all, she meets her friends at the soda shop to display her newly un-braced teeth and blow all her money on Cokes. She’s wearing a blue checkered shirt and then a matching tie and skirt in this weird off-red color. She ties the look together with some tiny white slip on sneakers or something.
Next up is a yellow checkered shirt with a rounded collar and a plaid tie that’s all messed up, maybe it’s supposed to be like that.
Following that we have something a touch different. A blue sweater vest over a green shirt with a floral skirt and a headband.
Fourth: I know there’s probably a word for this type of collat but I don’t know it. Melanie wears her off-red skirt with an open red vest over this stripedy blouse. Once again, a nice break from the excessive neckties.
And finally, it’s Christmas in this red plaid shirt with a green skirt and tie. (It’s not really Christmas.)

Your Melanie Moment today is an assortment of reaction faces to Kathleen no doubt, while sporting this deeply colored floral shirt with a blue tie and green skirt.

Uh oh, it’s the Melanie formula but in pastel! Much better, imo.
