I can’t say enough how much I LOVE this look. It’s so 80s, mature woman, androgynous, punk rock, all at the same time! Somehow a blazer with shoulderpads becomes totally awesome when Spike rocks it.

Day 2 of Spike’s crappy life. She wears a red-brown cardigan over a white cowlneck sweater, …socks over pants again!?.. red-brown socks over her black tapered pants, and these awesome black pointy shoes I can’t quite make out.

Last but not least, Spike’s winter looks! Her giant shoulderpadded coat is so cute on her, especially since she’s so tiny. I love the scarves. Check the use of double-scarf in the last image!

Spike may be the reason I started this (readerless) blog. Here she is wearing her classic early-Spike tapered jeans, accompanied by a thick red sweater.

She even makes gym clothes look cool. I still NEED that shirt. For gym she also wears leggings (still cool today, maybe minus the stirrups). And I’m not sure what her “skirt” is, but it looks like it might be an extra-long t-shirt!

Although I can’t quite make out her ensemble, I thought I’d share. I love Spike’s ability to dress manly, womanly, maturely, and punk-rock all at the same time. I’m loving her scarf, skirt, and kitten heels.

I don’t care how bland, boring, or mean (to Shane) Spike might be, I think she is super cool.

I adore this outfit: White deep V sweater over a black tee, and acid wash skinny jeans with black shoes. She is so adorable in all her shortness.

I tried and tried to capture her school picture outfit. We only see her here for like 1 second. I can’t quite make this out, but whatever it is she’s got on, it looks incredible. A ruffly high-collared red shirt under a black blazer – I have so much love for this.

DJH S1E2: The Big Dance

At this point we are only catching glimpses of Spike in the background.

You can see her here sporting a Smiths shirt with her awesome signature hair.

Band shirts are never out of style. Gotta represent!

Would I wear it? – A band shirt, yes – but the Smiths? Not my scene.

UPDATE: Okay, I finally listened to The Smiths and I’m in love. YES I would wear that shirt. I thought it was going to be some obnoxious punk band but I was really surprised! Spike has great taste 🙂
