Biggest Trudi haul ever right here!

Trudi is really freakin cool. But she also seems really intimidating to me. I feel like, if I went to DJH, I might, maybe be her friend, if she liked me, but I would always be a bit scared of her on the inside. Ever had a friend like that? I have. Like, she’s my friend, but I ain’t gonna try to make her mad. Ever. So in addition to the rad red mohawk deal, Trudi wears a beautiful red and white striped shirt reminiscent of a candy cane. She cinches it in with a red belt and completes the look with some khaki shorts. Also, as a bonus, she has a cute dangly cross earring, but only one of course.

I know I know I know someone else has worn this shirt. I can’t remember right now. Liz? Anyway, here’s trendy Trudi in a yellow and black checkered shirt.

And finally for the dance, Trudi really keeps the red motif going in a red and black dress.

I love this schoolgirl look – a jumper dress? I think that’s what we’d call it anyway. A dark dress over a white tee.

This shot, despite its blurriness, is actually really super adorable. I love Trish’s haircut and this darling white turtleneck sweater. I could’ve sworn I’ve seen this sweater before.

Tessa and her yet-to-be-named friend stare at Lucy and whisper about the rumors that she “did it”. It’s almost like the creators of this show knew where they were going to go with Tessa – I’m sure they didn’t, but the way they dress her so childishly and innocently really juxtaposes the wild and expressive Tessa we know later.

I can’t tell for sure, y’all, but it looks like this insane shirt has castles on it. I really hope it does. Nice, Snake.

Poor little Simon had to think really hard to keep up with the conversation when he, Alexa, BLT, and Michelle went on a picnic in the park. At least he looks good while doing it, in this striped button down and jeans. Though I have to say, his style switched from that initial heartthrob look pretty quickly! This is not quite as exciting.

LOL, Simon’s goofy face as he and Michelle awkwardly have their arms around each other strutting into the dance. He didn’t really try anything out of the ordinary for the dance, just wore that pink and blue plaid shirt that we see him in at school.

I snapped this pic because it really sums up a trend: these big billowy button downs and cuffed sleeves, tucked into high waists (I know that’s Jyoti in the background but don’t know who’s in the foreground.)

This is a really nice well-lit shot of that cool shiny checkered jacket Raditch often wears. It’s seriously rad. I also like it with this pale blue tie.

Whoa dude, is it casual (colorful) Friday? Raditch is sporting all blue everrrrthang like a champ over there.

Michelle definitely has a style different than the other kids. Since I was a wee little baby back in 1988, I am unable to judge or place or categorize her by what she’s wearing. Like, did cool people wear this? Did uncool people wear this? Is this nerdy? I don’t know. The only thing I can say about her style is that it’s very mature. But I love the top! I also love neck bows in general so I approve of this outfit. Michelle is wearing a grey button down blouse of some sort of thick material (actually, this could even be a dress). It has poofy sleeves and a cute little white neck bow.

Michelle is still sporting the pastels every now and then. I always dig this stripedy rainbow blouse, which she wears today with a jean skirt. Oh how I miss jean skirts. Makes any t-shirt ensemble a bit more special. I’m glad they’re coming back!!

Okay, and once again, fitting my description of “mature”, Michelle strolls into the dance with Simon on her arm. And she’s doing it even without showing all the chest that Alexa is. She’s wearing a teal blouse that looks to be silky, with a doily-reminiscent white lacy collar (no hate though, I’m a huge fan of collars), and some lighter shade of pencil skirt. It’s cute, it really is. But it looks like something someone older might wear? But again, maybe that was the style. I’m still trying to wrap my head around the late 80s-early 90s aesthetic.
