Alright, it’s LD time. Her signature tomboy look has some elements of the “grunge” style that would later appear in the 90s. I admire her cap, plaid flannel, skinny-legged jeans (mom jeans?), white tennies, or the occasional converse.

Somebody please explain this to me. Are those her socks pulled up over her pants? What is this? I’ve never seen it before. Except for when I was in Girl Scouts and didn’t want ticks to get to my skin. After I’ve seen LD sporting this look, I’ve started to notice this trend here and there, so I will add a “Trend: Socks over pants” category.

I never realized how much the silhouette of today’s TOMS shoes is reminiscent of the 80s.

And I love these pants to no end! I was lucky enough to find some at a thrift store recently.

Today Kathleen is wearing – what do you call those? – Ankle-length khakis with those white ankle socks you used to wear as a kid. And a nice yellow cardigan. Kinda gives you the impression that she is sweet, huh? Hah!

We rarely see Diana yet in the show, and this was the best shot I could get of her. But I LOVE these light wash curvy girl mom jeans. Love. People may say they are an unflattering style but I disagree! Paired with a tucked in flowy white button down top, Diana looks awesomely 80s and I’m jealous.

Wheels sure does love his tight brown corduroy pants. But I admire his independent sense of style. And he  looks super cute with his date with Steph! They could’ve had a contest to see whose pants were the tightest!

Oh, Voula, I’ve had about enough of you. Red sweater, white ruffles, and a plaid peasant skirt. You look wonderfully Victorian.

It’s hard to compliment her when she’s calling Steph a sleaze. (Can you tell I’m biased?) But I DO like this taupe-colored ruffly top. She pairs it with maybe a grey and green peasant skirt.

I did enjoy this top. You can’t make out the colors well, but it’s like a red-yellow-green checkered pattern. It really catches the eye. And of course the white buttoned panel on the front hearkens memories of the olden days.
