It’s time for the randos! First is this girl who seriously looks incredibly cool, like some kind of rock star. She wears a light jean jacket over what looks to be a band tee. She has a really cool hairdo, idk what to call it – a perm with bangs? and hoop earrings. Next is the counselor who has to have a talk with Michelle about taking caffeine pills. I took some caffeine pills once in high school. I thought I was super adventurous and cool because it was basically a drug. Anyway, the counselor lady wears a big teal colored cardi and a khaki colored skirt. Oh yeah and panty hose and all that jazz.

Here’s today’s rando club! First of all, this is the guy who I guess is a higher-up over at People for Peace. He seems pretty sane and is telling Claude to calm the heck down and be a little more strategic. Of course Claude is way to immature to listen. It’s too bad we didn’t get to see him grow up because so many rash and illogical people end up growing up so beautifully once they gain perspective and wisdom. Anyway, this P4P dude is dressed all business casual but then he has a bandanna tied around his neck. Next is the girl from Pigeons Are People Too. Although she has her own philanthropic concerns, right now she is getting on to Claude about a school project, wearing a maxi skirt and a red and gold vest. Then we see a couple of the upperclassmen…women? wearing some shiny gold earrings – and I love the overalls. And finally, we have this kid who is Alex’s competition for UNICEF fundraising. He’s never dressed too excitingly, blah.

First, this dude who must be the cool kid at school is wearing a colorblock windbreaker over a crazy printed button down.
Next is some girl at the soda shop whose ensemble would totally be a thing right now at this moment. A cute oversized sweater with skinny black pants and white tennies.

Had to capture this random boy’s crazy striped shorts which remind me of the crappy candy grandmas keep in their candy dish which were actually left over from the previous year and your last visit.

And this girl teaches us that the next time you’re not sure how to accessorize your girl-polo, just throw on a beret. And Mr. Raditch won’t take it off your head like he takes off Joey’s hat!

This rando looks pretty cool in a pink shirt with a green vest. Bring back the vests y’all!

I don’t know why this chick doesn’t hang out with Spike, she seems so cool! She’s sporting an edgy hairdo, a big band tee, and a vest. Man… I seriously want to start werkin the vests.

And here’s that one girl who hangs out with Tessa, wearing that one shirt we’ve already seen her in.

Here’s Dorothy’s cute sidekick whose name is still yet to be discovered. You know I love that pink and blue so I dig this sweater. Even if it is paired with some weird pleated pants.

Dang, who IS this girl? Someone on tumblr said she is like a combination of Spike and Caitlin. I totally see it. She’s definitely got style. I love this boat neck sweater over a white collar and a dark skirt. Keep it up, Cike! …. Spaitlin?

Time for our randos.

Random kid in random patterned polo which we do not see on young boys today – and I’m not sure if we ever will.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT I JUST REALIZED!? Lunch ladies wore orange in DJH, and lunch ladies were STILL wearing orange in TNG! (Picture Sheila!) What a legacy. Also, I guess hair nets weren’t required by health regulations in the 80s.

This cool-lookin chick is wearing an awesome beige sleeveless dress with button detail layered over a dark tank. I love this look!

Here’s some drunk dude fraternizing with Clutch in an orange polo and brown bomber jacket.

Time for the randos!

This kid in the hall is wearing an orange patterned sweater with some blue pants that look a bit bluer than blue jeans.

And although he doesn’t really qualify as a character, I had to include one of LD’s pinup guys, you know, to give you an impression of the ideal man of the 80s. And what do you call that thing he’s wearing – a banana hammock?

Pearls galore on the detention teacher lady. We’ve also seen her in the resource center. In real life, she was the cast’s on-set tutor. This was told to me by the lovely Colleen Lam, who portrayed Vivian Wong. I am lucky enough to have her attention on Instagram.

These. These two fools are the jerks who are trying to get Spike removed from school. Look at that lady’s mean and nasty face. She’s saying “That girl is NOT staying at Degrassi!” (Have I seen this too many times?) She’s wearing a brown trenchcoat thing to hide any clues that she may have a figure under there. For good measure, a big old skirt, and a buttoned blouse closed up tight to the neck with a big bow so everyone knows she’s super straight-laced.

New episode, new face!
This is “Aaron, that guy from Saint Mary’s.” Not the sharpest tool in the shed, but he’s got this rad greaser style that must attract all the ladies. The formula is simple: white tee, leather jacket, and neutral pants. Okay, Aaron’s really not that cool, but you gotta admit his style exceeds almost all of the Jr. High guys’ ensembles we have examined thus far.
