Today Melanie sports a mint green top that has very strange length sleeves. It’s like they’re long to give the illusion that the shirt is more oversized than it is? Anyway, her tie is a nice berry color which is a bit more pleasant than the harsher red she tends to lean toward. And she adds a final pop with a floral skirt.

For the dance, Melanie puts a new twist on her usual outfit formula – she untucks her blouse, giving her look more of that “pajama”, “just-rolled-out-of-bed” vibe.

Melanie in green, what a surprise! She’s wearing a peasant skirt with giant pockets, a floral blouse, and a braided pony with a green bow.

Melanie is much more pastel than usual today, and I’m kinda diggin it! She has a baby blue shirt, a coral tie and cardi, and a pale multicolored plaid skirt.

Now we’ve returned to her more usual color scheme, but she’s added this nice patterned vest to her wardrobe. Still continuing this very unique juxtaposition of masculine and feminine.

Here’s Melanie… with a disheveled button down… and a tie…surprise surprise. Green and blue.

Melanie is in her usual boyish DJH attire – a red vest and tie over…. a taupe? shirt? I’m not diggin it Mel. But that’s okay, you do you.

Melanie, the queen of harsh primary colors (colours)! Today her scheme is reminiscent of a childhood playground: yellow long sleeve button down under a blue sweatervest (complete with a blue tie peeping out) and a red checkered peasant skirt.

Melanie shakes things up a bit today with a floral top and the double side pony.

And I truly enjoyed this dress she wore to the dance! It’s purpley-pink with a cute sweetheart neckline lined with lace! Coulda ditched the black cardi though.

Melanie time – This is probably exactly what you were expecting. However, Melanie rarely dons purple so this was a bit of a change – a purple long sleeve button down under a red vest and tie. Interesting, but still a harsh color combo as per usual.

Plaid grey shirt, cream vest, no tie, still Melanie.

A Melanie-green shirt with a floral vest and white hair clip. Bravo.

Melanie’s attire this episode is definitely no surprise. Checkered shirts, peasant skirts, and ties in the usual array of slightly unfeminine hues of blue, green, or red.
