Here’s the couple of randos I’ve rounded up for you this episode. First is some skater dude wearing a bleachy-dyed shirt. Then is Michelle’s new housemate? landlord? wearing a triangular hair-do, a long sleeve black shirt, and a blue vest.

Joey has fully ditched the jean jacket these days, well – and the Hawaiian shirts it seems? Nowadays we see him in jarring colors, vests, and fedoras in seemingly haphazard colors to match.

This is pretty blurry, but I had to include this little shot of trendy Trudi sporting a vest and what looks like shaved sides!

Oh yes, this is a nice SLAY session here with Spike, the queen of fashion around here. Let’s just forget how dang awkward this whole dating-Patrick thing is, and look at the clothes. First, she’s just wearing her Pogues shirt all by itself. Then for the date, she wears her Billy Idol shirt. She’s done a bit of DIY to the tee by tying the sleeves up with little red ribbons. And let’s not forget this…. skirt. It’s like, you think it’s gonna be jeans, but suddenly it turns into a ruffly skirt. And it’s not just any skirt. It seems to have pockets deeper than you could imagine, holding a giant pocketbook inside. And for the final outfit, I really really love it. She wears another band tee (The Mission) with a skirt, spandex shorts, and a vest. This is sooo comfy looking yet so cool. I never know how to style band shirts. I’m just like, “here’s this shirt” and put some jeans on with it.

Oh HEYYYY Vicky, we haven’t seen you in forever girl! We only see a bit of her but she seems to be wearing a white shirt, black vest, and black necklace.

Our homegirl here is looking rad as ever in this Mission tee and vest. I can tell by her face that she’s trying to calm Liz down from a hateful rage. Good luck Spike.

Yes, so much Spike for us today! Even though her life is really not that exciting.. like… EVER – except for when she finds out she’s preggo – her outfits are almost always exciting.

First she wears a cropped grey long sleeve shirt over a t-shirt. I can’t make out what’s on the shirt but I do see the words “support”, “animal”, and a picture of a dog I think. She also wears a colorful skirt of many tiny vertical stripes, and some leggings that end under the knee.

The next outfit is her “The Mission” shirt under a vest. I think what’s happening underneath is a grey skirt and then some spandex shorts, some cool layers there. And then some chunky boots to finish it off. I remember the first time I heard this conversation between her and Heather, it really spoke to me. Spike’s a smart lady. IDK why she didn’t say that during the class debate last episode, though. Instead she was just like, “yeah, Liz, you’re right! go Liz!”

Melanie Brodie Fashion 3.13: Melanie Moment

DJH S3E13: Making Whoopee

This is an episode chock-full of Melanie, and she so gracefully exemplifies, as Emma Nelson might say, “general pubescent awkwardness”. Her color palette is never something that really resonated with me, but it’s definitely distinct. Let’s jump right in.

Outfit 1 is a maroon cardigan over a blue button down with a weird neck bow thing. The kicker is these crazy plaid pants which she has cuffed to a confusing length, to show off her tall black socks and her little rusty-colored oxfords.

Outfit 2 is the one where she’s really trying to pick up Snake. She’s got a plan to execute and has dressed to seduce. She sports a long sleeved pumpkin colored button down, with a navy floral vest and matching tie. To complete the look she wears a navy skirt and a nice dark red shade of lipstick on her teeth.  But seriously though, I feel really bad for Melanie when she has that lipstick on her teeth. We can all relate.

And finally, for Outfit 3, Melanie is cute as a bumblebee with this crazy black and yellow plaid skirt, yellow shirt, and red tie. Always with those harsh colors, man.

Liz O’Rourke Fashion 3.11: Liz Looks

First, Liz is in a red flannel. Next, this is her Gourmet Scum concert outfit. Considering the 90% of the school loves the Scum, I’m really surprised that Liz isn’t “too good” for them. Anyway, I’m kinda mad that since Spike and Liz are punky queens we don’t get a better glimpse at their concert outfits. Instead we just have to look at Square Tim and Tie-Dye Shane forever. For the concert Liz wears a mauvey top, black vest, grey skirt, studded belt, and leggings.
