Joey’s got a cute little mullet coming in. It’s nice to see SOMETHING change with him, because otherwise we’ve got… the Hawaiian shirt, jean vest, and fedora.
But when he’s not feeling tropical, he’s feeling the shameless plug and sporting The Zit Remedy’s official merchandise.

DJH S2E13: Pass Tense

As usual, Joey is showing his Zit Remedy pride in this pink hand-decorated cropped sweatshirt, with a white tee underneath and a classic jean vest. Oh and let’s not forget the burgundy fedora – we almost don’t notice it anymore, but I bet we would sure notice if he was hatless one day!
I don’t really have to spell this out for you. Blue Hawaiian shirt, jean vest, and brownish fedora. And excited facial expressions.
Okay seriously, what kind of dance is this? The wear-what-you-wore-last-year dance? Well, Joey has cleaned up the “funny” tux tee shirt with a collared undershirt and a nice coat.

DJH S2E11: Trust Me

IMO not nearly as exciting as Spike, Lucy, or the twins, but Joey time is inevitable.
This Hawaiian shirt of lighter hues reminds me of a tropical flower or sunset. The rare lack of a jean vest allows us to get the full exotic experience.
And here’s the green and peach Hawaiian shirt with, of course, the jean vest, and a brown fedora.
How many fedoras does Joey have, anyway? Well, once again, we are seeing one, of a red-brown color, but thankfully we get a little variety due to the cold weather. Joey wears a cool varsity-style jacket hiding his obnoxious tourist-biker getup.
“Tell me I don’t look 16!” There ya go. In case you were ever wondering, Joey wears rad tighty-whities and tube socks.
And, the lived-in Converse are always a nice touch, adding a bit of credibility to anyone, even Jeremiah.

Joey is powerless against the ladies posted in his locker. He quakes in his black and teal Hawaiian shirt with the usual accessories.
Joey sneers at LD’s pinups in her locker while wearing – what else? an orange hawaiian shirt, a jean vest, and brown fedora.

Joey gets formal for the dance in one of those “funny” t-shirts where there’s a tuxedo graphic on the front. The cutoff sleeves are a nice touch too.
Who knew you could wear a jean vest over a sweatshirt? Well, you can, and that is what Joey has done today, topping it off with a grey fedora, completing the musician-biker-hipster look.

Since I’m sick of Joey, I will try a biased and negative fashion review today.
Joey got what he deserved when Dwyane shoved him and ripped his shirt. Actually, Joey deserved that simply for wearing this ridiculous getup. He had tried to meld the world of tourist dads and biker gangs with this Hawaiian shirt and jean vest. No wonder Liz isn’t responding to that goofy smile. Derp!
In what world is it okay for a dude to wear cap sleeved shirts? Anyway, Joey’s got this shirt that looks like it came from the little girls’ section, the vest that he thinks makes him as cool as Rick, and some grey mesh fedora that doesn’t match anything else he’s got on. The fact he’s terrified today only makes the cap sleeves more hilarious.
And THIS is what defeat looks like. They must have made him wear that for this scene. He’s got on a humble grey shirt, kind of wrinkled to show he’s given up, but he’s not quelled enough to ditch the fedora for a day.

Some might say his style is charming – I say, hold on to your hats, because Joey’s fashion will continue to be obnoxiously repetitive for years to come.

Yes. This straw hat has a giant hole in it, like someone tall punched Joey in the head. Or like Joey is a scarecrow. If this isn’t a fashion statement I don’t know what is.
Joey is disgusted with Wheels’s study habits. Today he’s got on a burgundy hat, his official Zit Remedy swag, and a jean vest.
Again with the leather newsboy cap. Gotta respect his strange originality.
