You have probably noticed Vivian Wong walking around Degrassi. I have learned SO much since I started this blog, and one thing I learned is that many of these kids without many lines had names and everything! The actress who plays Vivian visits Broomheadz on Instagram, which is an honor! She shares many fun facts from her time on the show.
Here Vivian wears an all white getup complete with a white hairclip. Lovin it!

I’m sad to say I only have one Steph picture today. This oversized button down top with vertical grey and white stripes caught my eye because I had never seen her in it before! It’s actually pretty cool.

The parents are never the most interesting of subjects, but they’re all just part of the Broomheadz experience.
This flowy blue top and simple braid, although momish, still look SO much cooler than Shane’s mom’s style.
I also kinda like this teal blue midi-length short sleeved dress – it’s almost like a babydoll dress! The pearls are a nice touch. The whole ensemble says, “I am a respectable and intelligent person, but I’m not trying to impress you too much because I don’t feel the need to.”

I was so excited when I saw that I get to cover Spike today! Unlike Snake, Joey, and other boys, she’s not monotonously repetitive! Part of me wishes I could be selective in who I cover – but don’t worry, I won’t!
I’m not sure why this shirt reminds me of a Wal-Mart worker upon first glance, but I’m very quickly able to move past it. Alright, so we’ve got an extra large banana yellow t-shirt, with a blue sleeveless shirt layered on top, with a chain necklace. And the best part is the blue and yellow paid skirt that really gives the ensemble that punky edge. It’s hard to make out, but I think she’s donned some ankle boots for this look too.
I love the rusty-pink color Spike is sporting today. She’s got a light button down, an open brown vest, a studded belt around the waist, and some darker pants. Note the super cool shoulder bag covered in patches and pins. For such a young’un, Spike really knows who she is and what she likes, and I think that is awesome! She wasn’t really the most multi-faceted character on the show, but her style begs to differ.
I loved Spike’s Doomsday Dinner outfit, but sadly I couldn’t get better caps. She has SOME type of white band shirt as the base layer – if anyone can identify this shirt, please speak up! Over this shirt, she’s got a deep v red sweater tucked into a black and red checkered skirt, which is held up with black lacy suspenders. I think she’s also got some red tights on. An absolute dream!
The lighting was awful here, but I still thought Spike looked really cool in this collared dress, tights, and grey jacket.

Snake is trying to tell Joey how stupid he is, while wearing some sort of tie-dyed white t-shirt. However, it kinda looks like a blood stain or like he spilled some Kool Aid on himself. Not really sure about this one.
Keepin’ it funky in this red patterned shirt with yellow capris, and topped with his blue Snake jacket.

And somehow more terrifying than Shane’s dad…. is Shane’s mom. Hold on to your hats, people!
The look of death takes away from this uncomfortable-looking pale red button down.
Shane’s mom looks like she’s ready for prom or a wedding in this flowing white top – well, actually, it might be a dress, but there’s no way to know, since she’s not even polite enough to stand in when Spike and her mom arrive. “How do you do.”

I’m pretty sure none of us want to face Shane’s grandfather – I mean dad, but we couldn’t avoid it forever.
Do ministers just chill in their collars all day long? Is it acceptable to wear a see-through shirt? Because I can totally see his undershirt.
Here we see one of Mr. McKay’s casual looks: a pale green shirt with a collar that allows him to breathe.
Mr. McKay sports the full-on black and white minister’s getup to convey full wisdom and authority. He throws on a tweed jacket to add a little bit of relatability.

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME JORTS!?
As reserved and emotionless as Shane seems to be sometimes, I think you can really see the hesitation and unease in his face a lot. I’d like to commend Shane’s actor on that. So, today Shane wears a long-sleeved button down, which might be considered formal, but Shane rebels against that expectation by only buttoning a couple of bottom buttons! Rah!
You guys. Not only are these jorts, they are cuffed jorts. Plus, this plaid button down looks like it might have palm trees on it?! Let’s not leave out the white socks and some type of hiking boot.
“Wouldn’t it be neat to have a baby who loved you?”
Spike: “NO!! SMH.”
Shane is rocking this blue short sleeved button down, those same jorts, white socks, and some brown slip ons.
Shane sure does clean up well, doesn’t he? He looks extra-square in this pastel getup.

The morning after, Shane waits outside for Spike in a red-brown button down. Looks like he finally figured out how to button his shirts.
