Spike Nelson Fashion 3.14: Spike Slay

Slay us, kweeeen! I love Spike in ruffles. But let’s not jump ahead. Firstly, Spike can even make a.. greenish-taupe baggy t-shirt look cool, by styling it with a plaid skirt and a vest. And let’s not forget, the ONE EARRING trend – one BAT earring, to be exact! And next, this outfit is BOMB. I can’t for sure see what’s going on here. But it looks like a high neck ruffly blouse under a blazer of sorts. Of course then the whole thing is covered up by a big jacket, because, of course, it’s Canada.

Snake Simpson Fashion 3.14: Snake Segment

Snake and his crazy clothes, charming as always. The word that usually comes to mind is “zany”, as you well may know. So first he’s strolling around in this zany patterned sweater of random zigzag and dotted strips, and then is a classic orange short sleeve button down. If that’s not a Snake classic I don’t know what is. I wonder where that shirt is now. What happened to it? Is it decaying in a landfill? Is it forgotten in a box or closet? Is it hanging in a thrift store? Does Stefan have it? Is it being worn by someone who has no idea how special it is? We won’t know…  until we die and get answers to any questions we want….

Scooter Webster Fashion 3.14: Scooter Suit

First we see Scooter in a teal sweater with a bit of a scoop neck & therefore layered over a white tee. Then, a scoopy-neck striped long sleeve tee as well. And he poses for a picture with his best buddy in a yellow and blue polo deal.

LOL @ this 80s teacher’s face! Of course he’s wearing a suit and tie and thick-rimmed glasses.

Then, this guy’s name… I finally know it. It’s Mark. Now the question is, do I go back and update every appearance of Mark? Anyway, here he’s wearing a cool patterned sweater of zigzags and diamonds.

And finally, this dude. Gross. He’s spouting racial slurs while sporting a sloppy mullet and an unimpressive tee.

Ms. Accette Fashion 3.14: Mommy Module

“Just cuz they’re your parents…does NOT mean they’re perfect.”

Truer words were never spoken, Lucy. Here’s Michelle’s misguided mom in, first, a green puffy jacket, then a floral and purple getup to go show a house, and finally this yellow sweater with a blue collar. She’s probably feeding Michelle some sort of crap about her own stupid worldview.

Anyway, it’s nice to see some grownups here and there because, well, for example – look at Michelle’s mom’s hair. Mommy hair. We don’t really see any kids running around the halls of DJH with a curly styled mullet (well, except maybe Wheels). So these adult moments help give us a fuller impression of 80s Toronto style.

Mr. Accette Fashion 3.14: Father Finery

Before he turns into a completely different man, Michelle’s dad is an old dude with a mustache who, like Michelle’s dad #2, wears a bunch of suits to illustrate the fact he’s uptight and no fun.

Michelle moments are all green and blue this episode.

When she witnesses BLT get into a fight, Michelle is wearing a navy shirt, a jean skirt, and, wtf, are those panty hose? Whatever man.

Then she wears her blue and black argyle sweater, and also a blue sweater, with this quite loud green jacket. We also get a view of her cuffed pants and white shoes.

Melanie Brodie Fashion 3.14: Melanie Moment

Melanie is cheesing big time for the pictures, unlike her counterpart. She wears the usual, a combination of jarring red, blue, and green.

Lucy Fernandez Fashion 3.14: Lucy Love

These are the posts I enjoy making the most. (Hey, that rhymed!) Lucy, Lucy, Lucy. My love for you is eternal. I gotta say, she was way different in Junior High. It wasn’t exactly a realistic shift in who her character became. She went from IDGAF-about-school-and-I-shoplift to valedictorian. Whatever. Once she gets over the shoplifting and “too cool for school” thing, she’s perfect. IMO 😉 Anyway, on to the outfit. First she wears this cartoony jacket with a headband, and then, ahhh this gorgeous yellow and black v-neck sweater with a sweet side braid tied with a yellow ribbon. Lovely, Lucy!

Liz O’Rourke Fashion 3.14: Liz Looks

I feel the need to re-specify a few things. I hate Liz. She’s the worst. She is grumpy and negative and hateful. I can never forgive her for the huge wrongs she’s committed, and all the little things she does irk me. However, I think she is gorgeous and she generally has great style. I wish she wasn’t a butt face because otherwise we might be friends. And none of these statements have anything to do with her actor, Cathy Keenan. But yeah Liz makes me feel some type of way lately because she seems cool, but she’s a jerk face.

First Liz stalks the halls in this blue and black striped shirt, mini skirt, leggings, and white socks. Then, she layers it on – a flannel under a sweater, and topped outside by a jacket.
