And now, here we are. The very last Shane McKay post that broomheadz will ever make – chronologically, at least. This actor was fine and everything but god I wish Billy would have been invited back! When asked at Degrassi Palooza, “why didn’t you reprise your role as Shane?” he said, “I don’t have an answer to that.” Cryptic! This whole Shane storyline is almost too much to handle. I feel all kinds of feelings, you know? I feel sorrow and sympathy, but at times I also feel anger and fear. God idk why when people get dressed up it makes me want to cry. Like Shane got all dressed up in this little shirt and tie and vest to go see Spike?? I don’t know, that’s just so sad. Anyway, goodbye to Shane. Emma promised she would write him, I hope she really did.

It’s time for the random shots! First, Shane’s like, caretaker lady, or is it just one of the nurses in the place? I don’t know. But she’s very stressed. She wears a frilly blouse, a pencil skirt, loafers, and a tight bun. Next is the train station man, wearing a vest and tie, telling Craig and Emma that there are no more trains back to Degrassi Street. Then I got this hallway shot, featuring not only Spinner’s baggy silhouette, but also this cool alt girl wearing a plaid skirt and arm warmers. Reminds me of my own fashion choices from those days. Next is Ms. Smith, the Doris Bell of DCS. I hate her so much, she’s so mean that I feel a chill when I gaze upon her. She wears an updo and a floral top. And finally, stressed out worried lady is back, to pick up Shane, just wearing more boring stuff.

Oh, the B-plot is that Paige doesn’t like her locker, so Spinner tries to do some bartering to get her traded into a better locker. Kinda dumb. And she looks really mad here because Spinner gets up in front of the class to tell everyone he’s whipped (part of the bartering process). Paige wears a 70s-flower-power-inspired cardi kind of thing over a blue cami with some dark wash low-rise jeans. Her hair is parted down the middle and slightly curled under. And of course, she’s wearing her blue star messenger bag.

Liz returns, serving midwife looks for us today. First, pigtails with clippies, and she’s sporting those skinny eyebrows too. She’s wearing.. what do you call this, a smock? And I’m sorry, but I find it incredibly disturbing that Shane was there for the birth. What do you guys think? Anyway, Liz then takes off her plastic suit and wears a horizontal striped zip up hoodie with khakis. I love casual khakis. Haha not really. Oh yeah, I also got a pic of this crazy antique camera for you.

Liberty is of course heading the line right behind the teacher in… wait. What are they doing? Is Media Immersion catching butterflies? Okay, that’s weird. Anyway, Liberty is still rocking the warm toned colors – an orange top and red pants.

Here’s Joey, being absolutely no fun some more. He’s really mad he had to pick up Emma and Craig from Stouffville. He wears a black tee, jeans, and a khaki kind of jacket. And here in the woods, this may be the most repulsive outfit he’s ever worn. Who allowed this? Literally brown on brown on brown on brown on brown. I bet his shoes are also brown.

Jimmy is at the skate park all decked out in Triple 5 Soul, and then he’s in the hallways wearing a huge yellow plaid button down.

Emma’s style is laying a lot of earthy tones and looking like a general hippie. She’s finding her birth dad for the first time and the facts are tragic. What a plotline! anyway, we also get a little throwback shot of a baby outfit of hers, and in the last photo I wanted to make sure to show you her Birkenstock clogs. Ah yes, those clogs. I remember those days.
