Erica is clad in a black and white patterned button down shirt, partially unbuttoned to reveal a black tee layered underneath. She has paired it with slim black pants and accessorized with a headband and loud black and white earrings.

erica 21

We see this black and white striped “reminiscenza” sweater a lot.

erica 4

Erica is super cute classic black and white twin in this button down checkered shirt.

So obviously the pinks, peaches, and reds are Nancy’s colors of  choice. She also seems to like white shorts and little white tennies. I’m glad I was able to get so many shots of her this episode.

nancy 3

This was odd in a couple of ways. I’ve never seen the preppy look on Nancy. She’s got on a white button down with the sweater draped over her shoulders in a stereotypically 80s fashion. It kind of works for her and her over-achiever status. And come on, I have to talk about this baseball mitt. Really, she’s holding a baseball mitt? Is she on a softball team? Is she playing catch in that outfit?

Degrassi always shows people involved in sports for a brief moment, or just for one episode. Remember in the old TNG intro where they show Terri in a lacrosse uniform but we never even hear her talk about lacrosse? Remember in TNG Season 2 when the girls are on a floor hockey team? And in DJH we have the girls’ swim team for one episode? And now apparently Nancy plays a little softball on the side. Oh well, I’m not complaining, I don’t even like sports.

Nancy and maya

And lastly we see another preppy look on Nancy: a white button down under an open purple cardigan, and khaki shorts. Very mature, just like Nancy!

Wheels 1

Wheels has got on a tight v-neck tee tucked into his tight light wash jeans, with an open breezy plaid short-sleeved button down on top.

Susie 1

Susie’s fashion sense is not as dazzling as Steph’s or inspiring as Spike’s, but to start of Season 2 she’s got some cute beaded braids going on . She’s wearing some long sleeved graphic tee and holding a jean jacket.

Stephanie Kaye Fashion 2.1

Stephanie’s dressing more… conservatively now. I can’t wrap my head around this change!

Steph 1 Steph 2 Steph 3 Steph 4

Today Steph dons a Voula-esque pink, ruffly, long-sleeved blouse with a grey belted skirt. Her style still has a degree of playfulness with the pink hair clip. And farewell, skanky clothes! Into the trash > into Alexa’s hands they go!

Steph 5 Steph 6

Okay, first of all I will point out Steph’s hair tie. I’m not sure what they are officially called, but I read that some people called them “ball-balls” or “bobbles”. I just LOVE these, I need to find some! This is a grown-up Stephanie favorite. I love this yellow button down with a pink and green floral pattern. She pairs it with a pink blazer, grey skirt, and – lookie there – a little bit of old Steph remains, in her pink butterfly belt!

Spike Nelson Fashion 2.1

Spike 1 Spike 2 Spike 3

Spike is hangin out with her pregnant teen homegirls for some counseling. She’s got on some converse, white pants, a super cool big t-shirt, and an open vest. Also I could not ignore the girl to her left wearing these mint-colored overalls with a matching shirt. Very… pregnant-y.

Spike 4 Spike 5 Spike 6

Another dreary day at school. Spike is wearing what looks to be the same white pants, with the same shoes. She’s got an oversized pink button down with a black belt and black vest on. Very cool.

Spike 7

I really liked this ensemble of a loosely-knit sweater over a white tee with a blue plaid skirt, and tons of silver chain necklaces.

Spike 8 Spike 9 Spike 10

Spike looks very motherly sitting in that rocking chair. Anyway, I have to fawn over this outfit. She’s got on an adorable baby pink v-neck sweater with ling pink pearls. Her capris are white with black polka dots! And she’s sporting the Chucks again. Absolutely love!

Snake 2

If only we got better views of Snake’s zany styles. Today he is wearing sky blue striped capris, a matching blue t-shirt, and an open Hawaiian shirt.

Snake 3

He’s got a more mature, 80s heartthrob look here with his black on white and popped collar!

Simon Dexter Fashion 2.1

Enter: Simon. I never noticed how freakin 80s-cool he dresses.

Simon 1

Initially we see Simon wandering the halls in the distance. This isn’t a good shot, but I wanted to bring your attention to the slim pants and the white tennies.

Simon 2

Here we go. A brown leather jacket, a million popped  collars, and sunglasses hung on the front of his shirt. Hair gelled in an “I woke up like dis” fashion. Like a boss.

Simon 3 Simon 4

He basically keeps the same theme, though I love how he dresses up this plaid shirt. It’s amazing the difference popping a collar and wearing some shades can make.

Simon 5

Simon is being a little pervert talking about how he likes Alexa because of how she dresses. Strangely enough this turned out to be a long-lasting relationship. Anyway, he’s got his button down shirt like halfway unbuttoned, and hangs his night-time shades from the v-neck white tee underneath.

Mrs. McKay Fashion 2.1

DJH FASHION

The degree to which Shane’s parents are old-fashioned makes me uncomfortable. When I’m 70 I’m gonna be wearing a t-shirt, maybe with basketball shorts, when I’m in my house.

Shanes Parents

Mrs. McKay is all buttoned and tied up in this collared blouse with a bow around the neck. Maybe she inspired Voula. She’s got this really uptight-lady hairdo and is complete with jewelry for a maximum card-playing experience.

Shanes Mom 1

Eeek! Still in full business casual attire while she’s baking, only to make herself more comfortable she’s thrown on an apron.

I just think it’s funny that people get fully dressed, shoes and all, just to be inside their own house. My parents and grandparents do it and everything. But as soon as I get home, regular people clothes come right off! Ugh!
