An extremely special post today! Yick comes back to Degrassi! Actually, he’s just featured on the cover of the movie that Ellie, Sean, Marco, Jay, and Alex have gone to see. Elimination Round 3. So here’s Yick lookin like a boss in a tank and some tiny sunglasses. Go Yick go!

I’m 32 as I write this, but any time a Degrassi adult loses their shit on one of these kids they are dead to me forever. Like when Ms. Avery yelled at Caitlin, I became a changed woman. I don’t really want to explore whether Terri’s dad was right or wrong for yelling at Paige and Spinner, but yeah this really spoiled him for me. Apparently his favorite color is a washed out green; here’s his beautiful fashion show.

Wow, one of Terri’s very last moments here on broomheadz. What a bummer! She wears a half unfinished ponytail, a zip up hoodie over a flowery tee, and a jean jacket. On the fateful day at the park, she wears a horizontal-striped polo, a jean jacket, some weird looking pajama pants, and white shoes. And unfortunately the last outfit really isn’t an outfit. It’s a hospital gown. Terri really would have been a continued asset for Degrassi. I would have liked to get to know her better, ya know?

Snake is wearing a gross brown sweater and some khakis. Sorry to be so negative, I’m just really not keen on this wardrobe, bruh.

It must be cold I guess because Sean is laying on lots of hoodies and beanies over his tee and baggy pants. His pants are extra big today and he’s growing extra frustrated that he seems to be dating not just Ellie, but Ellie + Marco. I enjoy all of Sean’s fashion phases and this one is really a simple but cool look.

Rick’s mom, yo. Okay so I’m actually doing some reading about toxic parenting at the time of writing this. We don’t know much about the relationship between Rick and his mom but I’d say there’s probably a lot of babying going on… and she is just ALWAYS worried and flustered. I think she’s probably very high-maintenance. Obviously not trying to insinuate that Rick’s mom is responsible for the things he did, but parents do play a part in shaping some aspects of their children’s behaviors, right? Anyway, so here she is, freaking out like usual, wearing a bluish-purplish suit and an updo.

Rick is monochromatic and boring me in various shades of tan and brown. Literally from head to toe. Maybe it’s to imply she seems harmless. Maybe it’s to imply he comes from a background devoid of love or expression.

Okay, here’s the random stuff from this episode. We see some group shots of short shirts, flared or baggy jeans, drawstring backpacks with those flap lids, and some lady at Caitlin’s office wearing a blazer made out of plastic. And the last picture is a photo I can hear. “That was an even STUPIDER movie!” *everyone laughs* Anyway I think the girl with the updo is particularly noteworthy when it comes to 2000s style.

Paige wears her hair pinned half-back, her cool girl aviators, and a pink denim jacket as she announces she gets to use her parents’ van. In Kwan’s class, she wears this top that kind of looks like a patchwork colored camo thing. And then at the park, it’s obivously not as warm as they’d like it to be since everyone is wearing jackets and Paige wears a long cardi of varying greens blending together. And her pants are always cuffed, the poor dear. And next, she’s in class wearing casual khakis, a brown belt, pointy boots, and a white top. The final outfit is the yarn-lined jean jacket and a star messenger bag.
