Toby still sits perfectly on the cusp between the 90s and the 2000s, sporting tiny glasses, that middle-part wedge kinda haircut, and lots of horizontal stripes. And I have to say, that his school picture, may be the best thing I’ve ever seen on Degrassi.
Gangsta Gangsta, representative of Sean’s style transformation. He is no longer the knight in shining denim. I love the new look. Lots of baggy jeans, white tanks, zip up hoodies, beanies, bandannas, and headphones.
Rando roundup time! First are some tough-looking girls in shop class. Next is an Ellie lookalike – except she looks way scarier and meaner than Ellie – and also a dude wearing a jacket with stripes down the sleeve. Then just a few more random shots of random people, etc. I like including these miscellaneous shots because I think they do such a good job representing how regular kids really dressed in these days.
Nadia is here with the Knights and Rooks Society wearing a blue floral overshirt and her hair pulled half back. I’m not sure if this is the last time we see her, but let’s take a moment to appreciate her! I feel like she was probably intended to have a bigger role, especially since they even gave her a last name. Ah, what could have been?
Liberty, the object of JT’s subconscious desire, is seen around school in her usual overalls and shades of red. But in JT’s dreams, she wears her hair down and adorned with a flower, and a yellow halter tropical dress. Oooh, Riberty!
Kendra’s hair is definitely changing, but her tiny childish tees have not. She’s also helping out SITE this episode by cleaning the ravine… and accidentally stumbles upon Emma’s very first ravine exploits.
