Although Hazel doesn’t really have a big part in this episode, it IS one of her better moments throughout the show. First she wears this New York zip up jacket with her cross body bag, and she’s kinda trying to feed Manny tips on how to reconcile with Paige. Then she’s seen in Pretty Pretty Pretty, isn’t that the name of the store? And I don’t know if she’s trying dresses on, or if she’s really wearing this halter with her bra straps hanging out. Then she’s seen in her Spirit Squad uniform, and finally, I don’t know why she wears all black to the dance. Wonder if Paige “made” her. Also would like to take a moment for Hazel’s eyebrow game. Skinny and sharp, I always love when the brows are so skinny you can see the brow muscle underneath, you know what I mean? Oh yeah and this is where Hazel TELLS PAIGE OFF! Just this once. And it’s great.

Hatzilakos wears a floral skirt with a black flare-sleeve top over a blue cami. Then she announces Kevin Smith in her usual principally attire – a blazer.

Emma, the sexual being, is seeming extra mature and confident in this episode for some reason, even though she’s really just there as Manny’s sidekick for once. First she’s in a jean jacket and a floral cami. Then she’s still decked out in Lululemon as she helps Manny try on dresses. And for the dance, she wears a black spaghetti strap dress, which is… not very Emma, I don’t know. And her hair is.. well, it’s curled. I gotta say it does look awkwardly realistic. Though isn’t her mom a hairdresser? Where was she?

We get to spend some more time today with sweet Early Darcy. First she’s here in Spirit Squad wearing a spaghetti strap tank, then she’s also seen in her uniform. Then she’s in a green tee that shows us a little secret… Darcy is a Taurus. I can totally see it. And finally at the dance, she wears a strapless lacy dress with a pearl necklace.

Craig is all up in this episode because Kevin Smith wants his music in his movie potentially, and he plays prom. First he’s in this jean jacket and a band shirt I’m this close to identifying. Then for prom he’s dressed crazy… looks like he hit up Value Village. In fact, looks like he and Ashley went thrifting together. He wears this off tie, a blazer that doesn’t fit right, a messy shirt underneath, some pants that look like corduroy, and some saddle oxfords – the shoes I actually love. But overall, weird choices, Craig.

Umm Chantay is mostly standing behind people the whole episode, but here she is, in braids and her Spirit Squad uniform.

Oh yeah, okay I remember what episode this is. “Kevin Prepares to Infiltrate Jaitlin”. First she’s wearing her business attire which I often can only say hearkens back to the 70s in some way. The oversized collars and flared sleeve. That silky shirt and red hair, with the plaid pattern, there’s just a lot going on here. She tones it down a bit at prom by wearing a leather jacket and brownish blouse.

I would describe Ashley’s style these days as “intentional but illogical”. I mean, there are textures and layers and thoughts behind what she’s doing but it just doesn’t feel cohesive to me, nor descriptive of who she is. The first outfit is a ringer tee with a grey casual blazer and jeans. She’s still wearing that short, choppy hairstyle slightly flipped out. Next she meets… is this Kevin Smith’s music guy? in some kind of black cardigan. And then she plays at prom in this outfit I could never understand. A polka-dot tea party dress with a blue ribbon low on the waist, fishnets, and a sequined cardigan. Those just don’t look like Ashley’s clothes. Maybe she borrowed them. But Ashley truly is beautiful. I just love her sultry-looking eyes.
