I can’t even tell you how much innate resistance I have to this storyline. It’s the bleakest, most unglamorous, unentertaining pregnancy plot on this show. Well, Liberty is still in her zip up hoodie era, and finally wears her first pair of pregnant-lady overalls!

Ya know, I’m glad he’s in a good place right now. Diane is no Sydney, but she’s pretty amazing. As you may know, I’m not a Joey fan, but I also do feel a little sorry for him. His life is totally lame, and so is his wardrobe. But at least his car is cool – right? I am not a car person. And at least his shades are cool, or at least he thinks so.

Jay time! He’s being a terrible influence on JT right now but he does have style. His growing-out hair is kinda in the awkward stage as they call it, but he pulls it off. He wears this tiny-rimmed sunglasses and baggy monochromatic clothes. Interesting filters they’ve got on these scenes, like the color is all drained from life.

Here’s Tobes, in checkered shirts layered over tees, sporting that slightly spiked hair and small square glasses.

How many zip up hoodies can one person have?! Liberty surely holds the title for the ZUH Queen. Her “Pissed and Pregnant” wardrobe consists of zipper hoodies, a half-pony, stud earrings, and her glasses. She actually doesn’t look as pissed as usual in this episode, because she is hunting for apartments with JT. So she’s a bit softened by a glimmer of hope. It’s really kinda sad, they thought they could do it.

Here’s miserable Liberty in her assortment of hoodies and her signature tiny glasses. Also a new accessory is starting to appear – the baby bump! Also, shoutout to the 2000s poof – aka the pompadour – she sports here too.

Our charming mom-to-be Liberty is running around like a dark raincloud, wearing zipup jackets like there’s no tomorrow. She’s also doing everything she can to lose a certain accessory – JT.

As we often do, we wrap up this episode with Toby. Even though he has spiked hair and baggy clothes, he still looks like a nerd somehow. But yeah his style is a nice example of a neutral 2000s norm – where as JT is much more preppy.

In this season they’re always telling Liberty it’s not good for the baby for her to be working so hard in student council. Personally, *I* think it’s not good for the baby for Liberty to be a constant bitch. But hey, I’m not a doctor.

So yeah she’s a full on barrel of fun here, after she reveals she’s pregananant. Her hoodie era is here. And the more stressed she gets, the higher her backpack gets. I swear, that backpack is unacceptable. There’s no way anyone would do that back then. lol. Anyway, I’d also like to point out the other noteworthy item in her wardrobe this episode – the ballet flats, another mid-late 2000s staple. I remember when everyone was like “omg, you can look cute and formal without wearing heels! Flats are the perfect solution!”

Here’s a blurry picture of Liberty in a lavender pullover, her hair half up, and her painfully high-up backpack.
