Lucy sure can move fast. She practically GLIDES when I’m trying to snap a picture of her. I had to divide this cute little outfit’s shots into halves but you’ll get the idea. This primary color scheme is reminiscent of a clown, McDonald’s, or perhaps some happy skating rink, but Lucy can rock anything. From top to bottom, we have a yellow sweater, that blue skirt with red, yellow, and green polka dots, some red tights, and white tennis shoes. It’s intense.

Lucy is not a focus in this episode, but they do emphasize in the background that she is lonely, sad, and people are whispering about her. Nonetheless, she still shows up at the dance in a pink v-neck sweater and a skirt.

Today Liz is just wearing a basic tee of blue and orange horizontal stripes.

liz 3

Liz is showing a little more skin later in the episode, lookin’ “like she does it” as she rushes out of class in a blue tank.

liz 4

And for the dance, Liz has chosen an interestingly unattractive getup. Maybe she’s trying to tell Joey something. It looks to be like it’s a sweatshirt or an oversized long sleeve tee in grey, with a belt? and some leggings. Meh.

Just one little Kathleen snippet for you – her outfit at the dance. I thought it was worth including. The lighting may be influencing this, but it looks like she’s wearing a pink skirt with her school sweater. Complete with some grey socks.

We’ve got a little bit more Jyoti than usual this episode! She rocks the oversized button downs, complete with the messed up collars.

jyoti 3jyoti 4

I’m kind of surprised at this drab color scheme Jyoti chose for the dance. But I guess she, nor the rest of the squad, could outshine Caitlin so they had to keep it low key. It’s really an interesting ensemble when you think about it – these days we aren’t pairing giant short sleeved button downs with peasant skirts, now are we?

I guess we should appreciate these tired outfits while we can because I think Joey’s wardrobe gets a bit of a revamp in Degrassi High. For the time being, enjoy this red Hawaiian shirt + fedora that we’ve seen like 50 times, with skinny jeans and white shoes.

joey 4

Oh, and here’s the same hat with that one yellow and black Hawaiian shirt. Gotta appreciate, as always, the realistic repetitiveness of everyone’s wardrobe. But I’m not too big on Joey in this episode.

joey 5joey 6

And here’s Joey wearing the same hat a third time, to the dance, with this super hilarious tuxedo tee because he’s such a funny guy.

joey 7

And finally, Joey’s wearing the red hat AGAIN with a green Hawaiian shirt and jean vest. Trying to understand why Caitlin thinks he’s a jerk. Get with it, Joey.

So, I totally went out of order and skipped Diana. Not that it’s really an order at all. My order is mostly alphabetical by first name. But there are variations to that, like some teachers and some people’s parents aren’t categorized by their first names. So since it’s not like a serious order, I guess it’s okay that I’m randomly sticking Diana down here after Heather.

Diana wears an olivey ensemble to compliment her olive complexion. Rocking the curly bangs too.

diana 4

Here’s Diana in a pinky button down with a messed up collar. Which apparently no one thought was a problem in the 80s. Another one for my category “Trend: Disheveled Collars”.

diana 5

Y’all, I’m pretty sure I saw this top on Voula in season 1. Looks better on Diana.

I couldn’t snag any good twin shots this episode besides this Heather snap. She’s wearing big momlike high waisted pleated white shirts and a striped blouse. Maybe these 80s clothes weren’t the shortest or the tightest but they sure do look comfy!

Hahah, this shot of Dorothy creepily eating her carrot is just hilarious. While she unabashedly creeps, she also unabashedly pairs a turquoise skirt with a red plaid shirt.

dorothy 3dorothy 4

Oh god. Dorothy attacks the love of her life wearing a turquoise jumper with a coordinating striped tee.

dorothy 5

And Dorothy is last seen in this episode stalking her prey as usual, in a yellow sweatshirt with a white turtleneck. hawt.

Aw, this episode is so sad. I really do feel for Caitlin when Joey just stomps on her heart without even knowing he did it.

Caitlin 1 caitlin 2 caitlin 3

Caitlin is wearing a bright ensemble of blue and yellow: yellow skirt and belt with a sky blue tee. She accessorizes with an airplane broach, channeling her inner  flight attendant.

caitlin 4caitlin 5caitlin 6

I adore these mom jeans with a peachy oversized tee and cutoff sleeves. I have just noticed that I think she’s wearing an ankh necklace… If that in fact is an ankh, then that’s quite possibly the necklace we even see her wearing on into Degrassi High!

caitlin 7caitlin 8

I also don’t know if I’ve taken a moment to talk about Caitlin’s hair. I love that blond streak that almost gives the half-n-half effect that I love so much. Here are a couple of shots of Caitlin daydreaming about being Joey’s date, considering some gigantic fake pearls.

caitlin 9

And here’s Caitlin in a dress she tries on for the dance but ultimately decides against. I mean, she doesn’t want to look like she’s trying too hard. Still, I love all the tulle and the blue, complete with little kitten heels.

caitlin 10 caitlin 11 caitlin 12 caitlin 13 caitlin 14

For the dance, Caitlin decided on a pink tube top, black corset belt, black pencil skirt, fluffy black sweater, an updo, and silver jewelry. She tried really hard and she looks great. Joey was just too blind!

caitlin 15

I love this ensemble because it looks so comfortable: taupey combo of striped tee and solid shorts, complete with a brown belt. I’m not sure what you call this kind of shorts. I would just call them flowy mom shorts?
