We close Episode 1 of Season 2 with a Yick garment: a nice big red and white striped t-shirt. Not exactly noteworthy, but here we all are.

Stephanie’s dressing more… conservatively now. I can’t wrap my head around this change!
Today Steph dons a Voula-esque pink, ruffly, long-sleeved blouse with a grey belted skirt. Her style still has a degree of playfulness with the pink hair clip. And farewell, skanky clothes! Into the trash > into Alexa’s hands they go!
Okay, first of all I will point out Steph’s hair tie. I’m not sure what they are officially called, but I read that some people called them “ball-balls” or “bobbles”. I just LOVE these, I need to find some! This is a grown-up Stephanie favorite. I love this yellow button down with a pink and green floral pattern. She pairs it with a pink blazer, grey skirt, and – lookie there – a little bit of old Steph remains, in her pink butterfly belt!

Spike is hangin out with her pregnant teen homegirls for some counseling. She’s got on some converse, white pants, a super cool big t-shirt, and an open vest. Also I could not ignore the girl to her left wearing these mint-colored overalls with a matching shirt. Very… pregnant-y.
Another dreary day at school. Spike is wearing what looks to be the same white pants, with the same shoes. She’s got an oversized pink button down with a black belt and black vest on. Very cool.
I really liked this ensemble of a loosely-knit sweater over a white tee with a blue plaid skirt, and tons of silver chain necklaces.
Spike looks very motherly sitting in that rocking chair. Anyway, I have to fawn over this outfit. She’s got on an adorable baby pink v-neck sweater with ling pink pearls. Her capris are white with black polka dots! And she’s sporting the Chucks again. Absolutely love!

Enter: Simon. I never noticed how freakin 80s-cool he dresses.
Initially we see Simon wandering the halls in the distance. This isn’t a good shot, but I wanted to bring your attention to the slim pants and the white tennies.
Here we go. A brown leather jacket, a million popped collars, and sunglasses hung on the front of his shirt. Hair gelled in an “I woke up like dis” fashion. Like a boss.
He basically keeps the same theme, though I love how he dresses up this plaid shirt. It’s amazing the difference popping a collar and wearing some shades can make.
Simon is being a little pervert talking about how he likes Alexa because of how she dresses. Strangely enough this turned out to be a long-lasting relationship. Anyway, he’s got his button down shirt like halfway unbuttoned, and hangs his night-time shades from the v-neck white tee underneath.

The degree to which Shane’s parents are old-fashioned makes me uncomfortable. When I’m 70 I’m gonna be wearing a t-shirt, maybe with basketball shorts, when I’m in my house.
Mrs. McKay is all buttoned and tied up in this collared blouse with a bow around the neck. Maybe she inspired Voula. She’s got this really uptight-lady hairdo and is complete with jewelry for a maximum card-playing experience.
Eeek! Still in full business casual attire while she’s baking, only to make herself more comfortable she’s thrown on an apron.
I just think it’s funny that people get fully dressed, shoes and all, just to be inside their own house. My parents and grandparents do it and everything. But as soon as I get home, regular people clothes come right off! Ugh!

Shane’s parents are like a million years old. Do people wait til they’re 47 to have kids in Canada? Because where I live they get started at 20 (on purpose).
Shane’s dad is just chiling at the house with a suit and tie on. Tweed jacket and I think a reverend’s collar?
Uh-oh, Shane’s dad has that Saturday afternoon look going on! So casual in his pastel-hued button down! Don’t worry, we will talk about Shane’s mom next.

Time for everyone’s favorite babydaddy, Shane.
Here it is again, folks. Track pants with a flannel shirt.
I much prefer the bomber jacket over the track pants. Today he’s mixing things up with this grey textured sweater.
Aaaand he decided to bring Eggbert to the party. He even took the time to put on a nice shirt and not wear track pants! Let’s not forget, Paige Michalchuck once told us “No one should EVER wear track pants!”
