I’m delivering to you now the minor, random, miscellaneous fashion moments from the episode. First we have a priest in his priest suit. Then we have a colleague of Albert talking about how nice Albert was. Then we have the tanning bed attendant wearing pigtails, a ruched crop top, and sweatpants. Then a group shot of the many students at the luau. This luau seems somehow dreary; I guess they did that on purpose. Maybe it’s the lighting. Idk. And finally, is Craig’s dead dad’s doppelganger. Creepy.

Paige wears her hair up in some kind of pigtail updo, with the signature face-framing tendrils, hoop earrings, a pendant necklace, frosty eyeshadow, and a ribbed blue turtleneck sweater. The next day, she miraculously has the same hairdo, and a peachy textures off-shoulder shirt, jean jacket, flare pants, platforms, and her cool tinted aviator glasses. I REALLY love those shoes. Oh yeah and for skit class, she puts on a crown of ivy.

Haha, oh yeah, this is the episode where everyone is really into floor hockey for a split second. Sadly, as with DJH’s swim team, and DH’s girl’s volleyball vs. boy’s basketball, we are still fighting for equality. So the deal here is that the girls don’t get real uniforms, as you can see in the first picture. Next picture is TWO cross body bags side by side. Emma has pigtails, wears a horizontally striped sweater, and this weird little roll-up beanie that I’ve only ever seen on babies. The next ‘fit is a tee featuring horizontal chest stripes. Next is a colorblock tee and a jean jacket that looks like it could’ve belonged to Lucy. Then we are in the gym again, and Emma wears this shirt that I think she’s wearing when she destroys Sean in dodgeball. It has like, idk what this is, an atom on it or something. We get another look at the ratty uniforms. Then finally, by the end, Emma is wearing this oversized jacket to… ta-da! reveal the fact that they in fact got new uniforms! Ew, they say Jeremiah Motors on the front, not Degrassi. Okay. And, from this point on, the girls’ floor hockey team is what Degrassi Community School became famous for. They went on to become the best 8th grade floor hockey team in all of Canada. Manny went to university with a full scholarship for floor hockey. (I’m cracking up over here but then I remembered that Canada actually cares about hockey so maybe it’s not as funny for Canadians!)

This is a very important post. Why? Because Ellie has three pigtails. Three pigtails is one of Degrassi’s greatest silent shames. I’m surprised how many times I’ve seen this happening. One of my mom’s favorite stories to tell is about the time I asked for 3 pigtails to go to kindergarten. Because it’s absurd and hilarious. And for some reason, these 2000s city kids have made the absurd and hilarious choice to wear 3 pigtails. Aside from that, Ellie has done some interesting combinations today. As I say, I love her in red. So I’m glad to see her in this red bell-sleeve top, under a cropped black tank, loaded with jewelry, and wearing a floral skirt and her large grommet belt. It’s definitely a look. Okay and I joke about the 3 pigtails. She actually pulls it off.

Manny is sporting French braids, stud earrings, a ringer tee, and meddling in Emma’s meddles. Haha just kidding. She invites Sean to the wedding and then has to uninvite him and it’s a whole crapshow. And then, somehow, for some reason, she and Craig aren’t awkward anymore and they’re dancing at the wedding, and all we can see of her outfit is this half-updo. This wasn’t really a fashion segment as we could hardly see any fashion, but ya get what ya get.

Manny’s still wearing the braids with lots of hair ties, and today she’s got on a purple floral tee and low rise jeans. It’s still so funny to me to look back and see all that we had hanging out and it was just normal. Don’t get me wrong, as always, still love it. And then she wears her dark denim jacket, which I think is the same one she wore on her date with Craig, over a maroon top.
