Paige instigates a boner in Kwan’s class. She wears her hair clipped half back, a blue tee with a pattern on it and ruffled hems, belted cropped khakis, and black platform mules. This is a great look.

Is this really the first appearance of Nadia? Well, I guess it is. I’m also surprised that she comes with a last name. Unfortunately we can’t see much of her actual outfit, but it’s some kind of white blouse, and her hair is pulled half back. “Maybe one day, people will realize that the wolf is actually our friend.”

Manny Santos Fashion 2.5

Manny is sporting a wicked zigzag part and braided pigtails. She wears a jean jacket, red top with ruffly sleeves, and what looks to be an athletic-style maxi skirt, not unlike one we used to see on Ashley in Season 1. Oh wait, I just got a better look at these pigtails. This is like, French braided on the top, then tied, then a handful of smaller braids are created out of the original two, and then they’re tied again at the bottom. Who did this to her. Anyway, for the next day of course, she wears same hair different hairties, along with a blue long sleeve top, and some pants that I can hardly make out though they look to have a design on them.

Liberty is such a lil PUNK in this episode. Sometimes I find it strange that she, Emma, and Manny grew up to me some amazing BFF trio by the end. Or maybe it’s just weird that when they are graduating and in college they gush about how they’ve been besties since grade 7 or something like that — like girl no you weren’t! Anyway, like many other students in this episode, we see Liberty in a labcoat, and her floral tee is visible underneath. Then for the science fair, she presents her boring project wearing a striped button down and a reddish denim jacket.

Kwan is wearing her hair back in a clip, a strange pale green-grey colored shirt, and a grey pencil skirt.

First is JT perving over Ms. H in a labcoat and wilted spiky hair. Then we can somewhat make out a blue shirt open over an orange tee. And finally, a peek of an orange Hawaiian shirt at the science fair, where he’s presenting about breast implants.

LOL, Jimmy actually looks really cool with these slick shades, this chain, red backpack and blue tee. He’s come into puberty quite elegantly, while Spinner is over here getting spontaneous boners in his grimy sweatpants. And the next day he wears a blue and red plaid shirt. This is an uptick in his style, adding in some color, variation, and accessories finally.

Oh right, similar to the Ashley post, we only get one Hazel shot, and this is just a close up where she’s about to laugh at Spinner’s boner too. She’s wearing a black top, hoop earrings, and a headband, and that’s about all I can tell you.

First Ms. Hot Sauce is overseeing everyone’s science fair projects, in a coral top and white lab coat, her hair considerably less big today. But then it’s back to big for the science fair winner announcements. She’s wearing all pink, and I really have to say, I love when people wear all pink. We have a lady at work who wears all pink sometimes. It’s the best.

Emma Nelson Fashion 2.5

Emma Nelson is a mad scientist in this episode. Mad as in pissed. First she’s just glaring at Snake during family dinner, in a red v-neck tee. Is this perhaps the only time we ever see Emma in red? The next day, she’s actually wearing a labcoat over her heart-on shirt while she conducts experiments and gripes about Snake. As a long-time Archie Comics fan, though, I do love the reference to Betty and Veronica here in the dialogue. (No I have not seen Riverdale, leave me alone.) Fortunately she’s not wearing the labcoat ALL day, and she’s shown frowning in the halls wearing her cross-body bag. And for the big day, the science fair, Emma wears a horizontal-striped tank with some high-waisted, belted pants which I know for sure would not have been considered cool. An environmental/summer camp look maybe, but definitely not cool. And we conclude with Emma at home in her lime green floral pajamas.
