Here’s Christopher – Christopher Kerwin, we’ll call him. Ever the peaceful man, he looks on wearing a dark sweater and disheveled hair.

The images within this post bring so many thoughts. Despite his unexplainable loveability, Wheels wasn’t the best person – we all know that. And I feel like in this episode, all his faults and worst qualities culminated into a perfect storm that ended in disaster. This ending was just, such a shocker. I mean, I kinda already knew about it because I watched it in like 2015 after I’d already kinda heard it mentioned in TNG and the internet and whatnot. But I can’t imagine what people were feeling, watching this for the first time in 1992.
Anyway, Wheels’s style has changed a bit by now. His hair is longer and poofier, and his clothes are greasier and dirtier, and he wears more bandannas. It’s a look though, I do like it. But his looks and behaviors do make me uneasy throughout the movie. I don’t know why, it’s like, he’s throwing all caution and care to the wind, and you can see it happening. He’s turned super smug and doesn’t look or seem like himself.
And can we just take a moment to talk about that deleted scene from DTNGS1E1 at the class reunion where Wheels comes to apologize to Lucy? Man that is heart-wrenching. But I’m glad he came out the other side. And I hope he found some joy.

Tim has really let even more loose since we last left off. Here he’s spotted smoking and drinking, wearing a nice billowy shirt. At the lake party, he’s in more tie dye, and then at Simon’s wedding he dresses it up a bit but he looks like he’s talking about how much action Simon is going to get later!

Tessa finally gets some GOOD time in the spotlight in School’s Out. I just love her. And you know what else? I just feel like, Tessa and Joey, vibed really well. Idk, their fun seemed so real and raw and genuine, their chemistry was good. Joey and Caitlin never really clicked for me. If I had to approve of Joey with anyone, it would be Tessa. Till he screwed up her life I guess. Tessa is just so fun and bright and free spirited, Caitlin is kinda stiff and unsure of like, everything she’s ever doing. Anyway, this isn’t a contest, I just wanted to say that, I like Tessa, and she wasn’t trying to screw anything up.
On to the clothes! At the party, Tessa is wearing a velvet long sleeve shirt and a miniskirt. I love this outfit but every time I see it, I think about how utterly suffocatingly hot it would be to wear this in summer where I live, at any hour of the day. Next, is this yellow halter dress – I just love this, and I love Tessa’s sunkissed hair, what a summertime babe. On her pizza date with Joey, I can’t really see what she’s got on but it’s something peachy colored. She runs a bit late for work at the photo lab in a pink tank and floral skirt. I swear, the summer vibes in this movie are SO strong. I feel the fresh air and carefree mood throughout. Tessa is gushing to Spike all summer about how things are going with Joey, and she and Spike are matching in these weird pastel orange lab coats. Next we see her on the bed calling Joey, wearing a dusty pink ensemble. For their next date, she wears a miniskirt and a floral crop top, and a scrunchie. For the beach fantasy sequence, she wears a black bikini. OMG for the boob-squeezing scene, she has that yellow dress on again. I wonder if it was awkward to shoot that scene. I mean, it must have been. Is it even possible that Pat didn’t like that? I mean, you have to do this groping and act like you like it for the camera but then act like you don’t like it because you’re just acting, but you actually get to grab a boob, how can you not like that? I don’t know. Anyway how did I get so sidetracked? I’m here to talk about clothes. For another date, Tessa wears another crop and mini combo. For a little romp session, Tessa wears white shorts and a floral tank. Tessa then has her first abortion consultation in a big floral blouse and a cute 90s scrunchie braid. She goes to get it taken care of in an extremely oversized pink tee.
And that’s it for Tessa! I really hope things worked out for her. And as much as I don’t like Joey, I know that things did NOT turn out well for him. I don’t want to say he got what was coming to him; karma is very complex and it’s hard to determine whether losing your wife is equal payback for what he did to Tessa and Caitlin. Really, nobody is fit to say. But yeah, his life didn’t turn out to be the best thing ever. Seeing him in DTNG is generally pretty sad. But then again, he moved to Alberta in what, Season 6? Maybe he finally became a famous rock star and got to open for Craig on tour and he found a nice woman that he actually gets along with for longer than a month. And maybe Tessa grew up to become a principal and have beautiful children. Oh wait, that’s what happened to Kirsten!

Whoa, this confused me for a second. These are two different scenes, where Tabi is doing the same thing! haha. Okay so yes! Tabi came back for School’s Out! And it looks like she was integrated with the other kids and is not just hanging out with Nick and Dwayne anymore. At the grad party she wears a green off-the-should top and big hoops. At Simon and Alexa’s wedding, she wears more green, and more hoops.

Time for our extras, minors, randos, etc. First is the jewelry store man, disappointed he has Joey and Joey’s measly wallet as customers. Then is some random dude in the weed smoking circle, wearing nothing worth mentioning – he does have cool hair though. Next is a lady in a yellow spotted high-waist bikini at the public pool. Then another babe in a flowery one-piece. But I gotta say I love the grandma in goggles and a flower swim cap the best – she’s got the best looks at this concrete watering hole. And then, I think this is a lady at the abortion place? And maybe I’m crazy, but she looks kinda like she might be Lucy’s mom. Like, Anais wrote an article that showed pictures of her parents and I swear I remember her mom looking like that. I don’t know, it’s probably nothing. Next is another abortionist in a big floral dress to show us we are definitely creeping into the 90s for sure. And then, sorry to include such a terrible photo, but here are some servicepeople on the job after the accident.

Lucy is serving so much style in School’s Out! First here’s a cute little look at the DH graduation robes. But OMG this metallic mini dress she wears to the party is everything. Then she cleans up in a purple bikini. Her next scene is giving Caitlin condom lessons in another swimsuit that I can’t quite make out. And the NEXT party she wears this like, what do you call this? A bicycling outfit? It just looks like something you’d wear to go cycling. She wears this spandex set in yellow, pink, and black. And then finally, I mean, here’s her hospital outfit, I guess it really has nothing to do with Lucy style. I have to say, the ending of this movie is so, random and tragic, it really reflects real life’s chaos. Like, why Lucy? Why her eyes? Why Wheels? Why that little boy? Oof, this is hard. I am honestly SO glad I watched DTNG before this because I would be devastated not knowing what was going to happen to Lucy for like 10 years. I’m so glad she mostly recovered.
