Snake VERY rarely switches things up. So we should be happy about this new look – Snake the biker boy?? Ugh. I don’t know. Instead it fills me with cringe, but this is a cringe largely composed of sympathy. Just… poor Snake. You’re just a dork. You should be okay with that. Because there’s no hiding it. But also there’s a bit of rage here from me, as Snake was doing this to basically experiment with leaving his life behind. He was discontent with everything he had. Obviously this is an introduction to some very poor choices on his part. Anyway, when we’re not seeing him embodying this totally out-of-place biker persona, he’s just wearing blue button downs, and carrying inside his little skull, a fantasy of a different life, one where he doesn’t have a pesky wife, a teenage stepdaughter, a baby, and a boring job.
