For once, it’s an episode not starring Emma. Her shoulder-length hair is flipped out at the bottom (been there) and she wears a 3/4-length shirt with a cutout at the neck and some random design on it.

This is the episode where the subplot is that Ashley is reading the announcements and Liberty wants to try her hand at it. As always, and like many, Ashley is wearing this outfit that seems like it looks kinda good but it also looks kinda awkward. Which I’m sure most of us did at this age when styling ourselves with what we had. So what she’s got on is some kind of ribbed deep-v polo kinda thing in blue, over a v-neck white tee. She accessorizes with hoops and a 90s lookin necklace.

It is so special that we are covering this episode right now. Because, last week I just got back from Toronto (it’s currently June 2019, but if you’re reading this on Instagram, you are WAY in the future). At Degrassi Palooza, I won Dan Wood’s copy of THIS EPISODE’S SCRIPT in the silent auction! And now here I am covering it for broomheadz! We start off with Armstrong, who is coaching his drug-addicted basketball team wearing a light grey sweatsuit. Here’s another teacher I never knew had a name. Darryl. Haha. Doesn’t really work for me. Idk I was kinda thinking it would be Arnold.

We conclude The Mating Game with Toby in a big old tee with a horizontal chest stripe, and then some baggy polos and his messenger bag.

Terri MacGregor Fashion 1.6

Terri, known for her loungewear style, wears a tee and a zip up hoodie with an unfinished ponytail. Then we see her in a sleeveless hoodie? a hooded vest? over a tee and some track pants. And I grabbed this last shot although I don’t really see enough of her top to be able to describe it. Anyway, you get the picture. Her style is a mix between streetwear, gymwear, and pajamas.

Spinner Mason Fashion 1.6

Spinner, as usual, sports spiked hair, big tee shirts, and he does wear an overshirt this episode too, a bluish checkered shirt.

Don’t expect much variety from Sean. Today, enjoy this white tee and jean jacket.

First, we have one of the dudes at the lunch table in a greyish v-neck. Then, the bike courier delivery man brings condoms to Ashley’s house in a full on outfit like he’s ready to do the Tour de France or something. Then, the cashier at the drugstore – whom I almost just referred to as a condom salesman – spends some time embarrassing Jimmy in some tourist-lookin button down. And finally, the janitor – I think this is Lou – sweeping up after all those sloppy kids.

Paige sure is smug in this episode. She takes on this opportunity, when cast as the Juliet to Jimmy’s Romeo, to make Ashley squirm. Then when people start to murmur about the fact that Paige isn’t a virgin, Ashley starts to feel the pressure to put out. So first Paige is in pigtails, complete with the face-framing tendrils, hoop earrings, and a pink top. Then she wears a grey tank (I can’t make out what it says though) and lots of silver jewelry. I remember how unbelievably tacky anything gold seemed at the time. Had to stick with silver. And finally, we get a peek at this purple tank, blue bra straps? and a strawberry necklace.

Manny Santos Fashion 1.6

Sweet little baby Manny is just perfectly encompassing that childlike grade seven mood. Once again a beautiful contrast against Paige (who “HAS” done it) and Ash (who’s “TOTALLY about to do it”).  First Manny wears a ponytail, a chunky pink watch, and a tye-dye shirt with sequins all along the collar. Ah, don’t you love it? A tee shirt with sequins on it. The 2000s really knew how to dress things up. Then we have more tie-dye, of a reddish hue, with light wash, loose-fitting jeans, and chunky shoes. And finally, a blue long sleeve tee with a sort of dip-dye effect, random graphics on it, (keep in mind it’s that nice 2000s shirt length where it’s not quite cropped but not quite normal) and more light wash jeans. Let’s continue to sit back and wait for the moment Manny gets her own storyline.
