Manny is rocking 3 or 4 pigtail braids, and a summer sunflower tank. Then she wears an orange tank with a jean skirt, just, you know, doing sidekick stuff.

Sorry, I had to grab this shot of Liberty bending over hahha. But honestly it does demonstrate the low rise nature of the pants back then, combined with the shorter nature of the shirts. This first outfit is Liberty impersonating JT, dressed in her JT costume. He did not find it funny as you may recall. Then she wears a button down shirt under overalls, looking like a proper junior high child. And finally we see her decked out in a custodial uniform, to pay off her graffiti debt.

JT Yorke Fashion 2.8

JT’s first ensemble is all blue – Hawaiian shirt, open over a tee, with a necklace. I’m forever grateful that SOMEONE in this drab school is bringing some color to the palette. Next he taunts Liberty in a backwards cap, and oversized long sleeve yellow tee. Last but not least, we see him in the hall in an orange red tee, baggy khakis with some red at the hem, and some big ol’ tennis shoes. And of course I had to catch that wink for you. Are you swooning?

Hazel Aden Fashion 2.8

First Hazel wears an athletic-inspired purple tee, which is skin tight and has its sleeves cut into a fringe, purple eyeshadow, a horseshoe necklace, hoops, and a purple headband.  Next, she’s still doing that neck scarf thing. This time it’s bright green and paired with a red top and red headband. Oh, she might be wearing it because she has polyps, and everyone knows a scarf is good for a sore throat. And for the PMS show, unfortunately I couldn’t really get a shot of her outfit, but she wears all black like everyone else but then that obnoxious green neck scarf. Oh yeah, here’s a cool armband too!

Emma is all summery, wearing a blue tank and half-pigtails with a denim skirt and white tennies. Later she puts a matching short sleeve cardi over it and wears her old faithful cross-body bag. Next is a purple spaghetti strap tank and jeans.

Ellie Nash Fashion 2.8

Ellie is just over here being cool af, smiling approvingly at PMS’s performance, wearing an elaborate hairstyle and what looks to be a leather vest with a choker. Then she praises them in person at school the next day, wearing a spikey necklace and black mesh top, with some pigtail kinda hair.

Terri is only here for the tea in this episode. She’s got her hair clipped up, hoop earrings, a peasant blouse, and an athletic zip up hoodie. Not the cutest match, but realistic.

Spinner Mason Fashion 2.7

Here’s a rare moment of Spinner being a soccer star. He’s wearing his uniform first. Then he preps for his soon-to-be-cancelled date wearing baggy khakis, chunky tennies (or are these skate shoes),  and some oversized collar shirt. This type of shirt probably has a name, because it’s not quite a polo, not quite a button down. Ah, oh well. Then at school, it’s just more of the same Spinner, athletics-inspired tees and baggy pants and spiky hair.

As this is a Paige episode, and as Paige is a 2000s fashion queen, I’ve got a lot to show you today. This episode is a whopper but we’re going to try to keep it light, for the sake of fashion, despite the importance and gravity of this episode’s themes. We kick off with Paige in her cheer uniform and a curled ponytail. Then, this next ‘fit is one of my favorites. A white crocheted headband, blue shades, hoops, a baby blue cropped sleeveless polo with like, grommets along the neckline, and a denim miniskirt with yet more grommets. This is just elegant af. Next is the party outfit. She gets those tall strappy silver stilettos and wears an all brown getup – a brown off-the shoulder ruffly blouse and a brown pencil skirt, hair all done and everything. As iconic as the outfit is, it was hard to capture in the dark and crowded party. The next day, she wears MORE brown. These brown cropped pants have a shimmer to them, and the brown shirt is a 3/4 sleeve. She wears it all with black platforms, way before black + brown was considered acceptable. She really looks beautiful despite what she’s going through. And for some reason, this jarring all-brown-everything look is actually, pleasing to the eyes? Like a Hershey bar.
