S4E17: Queen of Hearts

Ya know, I always think of Queen of Hearts as the Ellie + Alex episode, but it’s also quite big on Paige. I love how she looks in S4 – her hair, her grungy eye makeup. First she wears this tiny tee with a chihuahua on it. It looks like its name is “Chichi” lol. Next she’s at the movies with Matt. She wears casual flare cargo khakis, and ulta-low yellow cowl neck over a white shirt, and a random pink cowboy hat, which I kinda love. But in all actuality this outfit is pretty much awful. I mean, look at the size of those pockets on the khakis. Was she using those pants to smuggle food into the theatre? I guess, cuz ain’t nothing fitting into that mini purse. The next outfit, I love. It’s this gorgeous white off-shoulder top with flowers on it. Also, low rise janes and some kinda statement belt as per the 2000s requirements. And lastly, Paige wears her brown, scratchy work uniform and sneaks in a call on her flip phone.

It’s The Evil Meeri! She’s back again to ruin Paige’s life some more! Meeri is an interesting person. Sometimes she seems human and other times she’s totally merciless. She’s wearing that tasty crispy brown work uniform with a really large collared shirt.

Marco is wearing a variety of athletic-inspired shirts and jackets, with stripes going down the sleeves. His hair is long and intentional – he even wears it curly one day which, in my opinion, isn’t terrible, but then Craig tells Marco he looks like Ashley and now I just can’t unsee that.

Okay, okay. I do feel a bit sorry for Ellie’s mom. A little. Look at her trying so hard. Awww. She looks all proper in his pink cardi over a button down, with a headband and earrings. I like that she looks a little more put-together perhaps, but she also dresses in a way that kind of communicates her need for a proper appearance. The last outfit is her in a peach button down, that classic Caroline kind of look.

An Ellie episode! She’s out here living on her own, in Sean’s old apartment. First she’s seen in a black tee with a skull graphic on it. Then we get to see her a full fit – those awesome black wedge boots, fishnet tights, a black skirt, a grey tee over a mesh long sleeve, and a chain necklace. Pretty simple but very cute. We also get to see her Emily the Strange bag up close! The next ensemble is a black zip up hoodie, skull arm bands, and a camo/cargo looking skirt. For the house party that night, she keeps the arm bands and adds clips to her hair. And for the final look, we can’t really see it well but it seems to just be a black long sleeve shirt. I cannot believe Ellie wants to move back in with her mom.

Trying to figure out why exactly Dylan is here – OH that’s right, POKER. He’s here with his hot hockey team do so some SERIOUS gambling. He wears this tee with shoulder striping and still has huge hair.
