For our rando roundup, I have a couple of ravine picks, where you can see the baggy, saggy pants and the tight shirts. Then I have an assortment of older men just giving “authority figure” – a landlord, a pharmacist, and a security guard. I also threw in Snake in his motorcycle outfit here because I didn’t want to separate out these 2000s girls in their tight clothes laughing at him.

Rando roundup – starting off we have a BREAK DANCER in the student body! He’s got the necessary baggy clothes and he also seems to have dreads. Then we get a little look at some landlords of Toronto, wearing polos and looking grumpy. There’s a shot of JT’s old employers, the TV show people, and then his new employer, the goodly pharmacist.

S5E6: I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For

Time for the rando roundup. First we see this guy who runs the wheelchair basketball team, and he’s kind of a dick. In the museum we see a girl with a jean miniskirt and those half-leggings underneath, with flats. A very 2000s look. I never liked that half-legging trend back then. And finally, this girl in the Baby Making class wears a spagetti strap top and casual khakis.

I had to just google this to be sure, but this gal on the right in these first two pics will eventually become Carla, who Alex Nunez dates! Isn’t that funny? I’m going to go ahead and put her down as Carla because I’m going to live in a fantasy where this IS Carla and she just hasn’t met Alex yet. I think I know this actor from some other show, too, like maybe Radio Free Roscoe? She’s really gorgeous, and wears a v-neck floral dress. She’s one of Diane’s friends, by the way. As is the blonde next to her. And in the last pic is Diane’s sister, the bride, who kind of looks like a square.

S5E1: Venus Part 1

Oh, hey! I took about a week off from posting because I ran out of storage space here on my site. I use WordPress, and I had filled up my Personal plan to the limit. I thought I was on Premium already and thought I couldn’t afford the next upgrade. Turns out I only had Personal, so now I’ve upgraded to Premium, and hope to have a few more years of doing this with y’all! I mean, I have like 14 more seasons to cover! Let’s hope Premium gets me through that!
Anyway, I’ve got the rando roundup for you today. First is the Tankini Tramp, who reminds me of Sara Paxton. Then is this group shot of the Grade 8s (I know, they’re older now) which is undeniably awesome. Ya know, I tend not to question these pants. Ever. Because those were the only pants I knew at the time and still feel like “normal” pants to me, even as trends changed. But like… objectively… do they look.. BAD?! Ill-fitting, even? Unflattering? Well, even if they do, skinny jeans are MUCH worse.
I had to include this mannequin shot because you can see the low-riseness of the pants, the tightness of the shirt, and that grommet belt, oof. Also at the mall, Manny is looking at this girl wearing a low-rise mini skirt, and the girl is also wearing the wig that Manny tries on… yeaaaah y’all can’t get anything past me!! I’m onto your secrets! Also at the mall is this gorgeous blonde with fillers and heavy makeup, also a miniskirt. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I still love and always have loved that golden Playboy blonde color that’s currently “out”. It’ll be back, just you watch.
Why do all the adults wear 70s-inspired clothes? Huge collars and bell sleeves? Does the wardrobe dept do that on purpose to show they’re from a different generation? Anyway, this rude receptionist for Bernice wears a terribly uncomfortably looking tweed blazer over a collar that reaches the ends of her shoulders. Gross.
Back at school, we see an assortment of cross-body bags and messenger bags. At the hot-girls-only party, Tankini Tramp Sara Paxton is apparently friends with Emma now, and her bra straps are hangin out – a favorite look! And finally.. the vodka guy is kinda gross, isn’t he?

Here’s where I round up the random and group photos from the episode. First are a couple shots of Spirit Squad, in their white tennies and Degrassi attire. Next is a group shot in the hallway featuring many sets of belted, low-rise jeans. Then is Kevin Smith’s insufferable music guy acting coked out in a leather jacket. This next shot, just a random girl at the dance – tell me that’s not Rochelle. “Hey Rochelle, wanna have lunch?” Holly J asks this girl in the hallway much later on and she smiles all big. This girl looks like Rochelle. Maybe there’s too much time between this episode and that future one, but I’m going to try to keep an eye out. And finally is an overhead shot at the dance, of these little youngsters enjoying themselves.

S4E19: Moonlight Desires

Time for all the miscellaneous grabs from this episode. First is this horrid group at The Dot. Ah, I see from their book that they are a birdwatchers club. They’re dressed awfully rugged to be strolling around a city park gazing at birds. The leader of this group has tiny glasses and skinny eyebrows. We sure liked things small around the eyes back then, didn’t we? Next is this nurse at the blood drive. She’s scary. And she’s wearing scrubs, nothing really to talk about there. Caitlin’s camera dude is wearing a khaki jacket. Blood donors are wearing baggy or flared jeans with white tennies. And here’s Dylan’s new dude – what was his name… Eric or something? I can’t believe I didn’t take note. He’s wearing a black tank and a puka shell necklace. We briefly see a janitor in work clothes – not sure why I included that.
