Jimmy is just wearing his normal athletic-casual style, in baggy jeans, a tee, and a zip up jacket.

Idk why but I guess I like when Jay actually walks the walk and does something crazy. Not saying I condone violence, but since this is a fictional tale, can I say he is kind of a badass? He wears a mechanic-looking jacket, a backwards hat, a chain necklace, baggy pants, and bulky Nikes (or something similar). Also, he tries on Rick’s glasses… ohh he looks funny.

Hazel is just a bystander like always. Hey, I’m curious – how DOES she feel about the whole Rick situation? She seems to be a bit of a bandwagoner here. Anyway, the first Hazel outfit is great – I LOVE this orange color on her. The next outfit is this 3/4 sleeve tee with diagonal striping. And lastly, she’s wearing a ponytail which we don’t too often see! she’s got a cute white blouse with ruffles the tie detailing.

Oh yeah, I remember that Ellie is kinda questioning this ribbon campaign. There’s a lot to unpack there. She and Sean were like “Um no thanks.” It’s hard to say why. I mean, I guess they both thought it was better to simply not engage, to not get involved. Emma and friends were, seemingly, about REVENGE. And Sean and Ellie probably would have just been more content to ignore Rick’s existence. Then again, they weren’t close to Terri and probably weren’t privy to the whole story of her relationship to Rick. But… neither was Emma.
Oh, right, fashion. Ellie has these cute little hair clips and a side part. As someone who is her age, I feel like those weren’t cool at the time necessarily. Because that’s exactly how we’d wear our hair in elementary school in the 90s. So why would we do this in high school? These clips are exactly what I did when I was growing my bangs out in 2nd grade, ya know? However, I do like this, I do think it’s cute, and it has risen to become a modern trend – partly thanks to the e-girl aesthetic. So technically Ellie was way ahead of her time. She also wears her red collar and a chain necklace, and some dark striped top.

First we briefly see Danny using an ironing board as a hot-tub diving board, wearing floral swim trunks that seem to be an eternal staple in the male human wardrobe. Then, he’s got a super baggy silhouette wearing these cargo pants, an oversized tee over a long sleeve tee. Oh yeah, also a sweatband and a slick watch. I had to throw in this shot of his fake ID as Gunther Von Eisenstadt. And the last outfit is just a grey tee and khaki cargo pants. It took a long time for Danny to grow on me. But over the years I have come to like him. I feel like…. hear me out… he had more personality in his younger years – like right now. And I will say the same for JT. I prefer young JT over older JT, and young Danny over newer Danny.

Oh this is the penis envy episode, JT vs Craig. Hilarious! First, Craig is wearing camo, which is weird. We actually don’t see a lot of camo at Degrassi, do we? Anyway, he’s got a camo tee and a jean jacket. Then I threw in this towel pic for no good reason. We don’t see Craig shirtless very much at all. Actually, we don’t see most people in swimsuits or anything very much. Maybe it’s because Canadian summer is 2 months long at most. My summer is 8 months long soooo I’m a little jealous. Anyway, the final outfit is loose-fitting jeans, worn-out Chucks, and a tee and his jean jacket.

We are in this new episode, Mercy Street, which should really be called Merciless Street. Alex is stoked to be able to jump on the bully bandwagon. First she’s in a black ribbed tank. The next outfit is just… horrible? Or is it awesome? Monochromatic af in baggy casual khakis and a brown tank. And finally, a white tank and some work pants. Each ‘fit comes accessorized with exposed bra straps, big hoops, crossbody bag, and sunglasses tucked into her shirt throughout.

Paige is looking for a job to pay back Spinner after she wrecked his car. She’s wearing kelly green, which is very different for her! This shirt has that very 2000s silhoutte – big in the sleeves and shoulders and then tight fitting around the hips. What even was that? I definitely wore that style as well. Anyway, it’s hanging off one shoulder and exposing the bra strap – cue “exposed bra strap” tag here on the blog. I also wanted to mention that tiny 2000s purse. Did anyone else carry around a purse AND a school bag like Paige? I totally did. Her hair has been textured and styled really nicely lately. I dig it. And the final outfit is her spirit squad uniform.

Marco’s mom works at Shoppers or something. I don’t know, her vest looks like Spinner’s mom’s Zellers uniform but this here is a drugstore. Anyway, Marco’s mom is just so sweet and lovely, don’t you think? She’s seen next in a high-rise skirt, red tee, and red floral overshirt. Then she’s in a blue on blue combo, and finally – she attends Marco’s debate in a burgundy jacket over a floral blouse, her 90s bangs all fixed and her hair pulled back.
