A new episode! We made it through Time Stands Still, let’s all release a sigh! Sadly though, the shadow still lingers over us for this episode. Here is Alex, in her tank, cross body bag, and hoops, showing a bit of a more sensitive side. However, the only inkling of remorse I believe we EVER get from her about the Rick thing is “I want to talk about what happened”.

My god, that happened fast. Honestly I guess I didn’t really ever think about the fact that the shooting episode is only the 6th one of the season. Brutal, heavy, and hard. These next many posts are gonna be a doozy. But despite the subject matter, we are here to keep things light and talk about clothing. And we get to kick off with Alex. Her hair is just a’growin but she still dresses the same – tanks, crossbody bag, headphones, low-rise baggy pants, hoops, and those sunnies tucked into the front of her shirt.

A new episode, and we start off featuring scary, scary Alex. Her hair is jet-black as ever. First we see some casual khakis, with a black tank and of course those exposed bra straps. Ohh man look at these nails! Square-shaped French manicure. She wears her giant hoops, and her tinted shades tucked into her grey fitted tee. We get a brief moment of color here with this green tank and jeans, but then it’s on to this awful brown movie theatre uniform. Gotta hand it to her for adding so much personality to it, though, with the giant hoops.

We are in this new episode, Mercy Street, which should really be called Merciless Street. Alex is stoked to be able to jump on the bully bandwagon. First she’s in a black ribbed tank. The next outfit is just… horrible? Or is it awesome? Monochromatic af in baggy casual khakis and a brown tank. And finally, a white tank and some work pants. Each ‘fit comes accessorized with exposed bra straps, big hoops, crossbody bag, and sunglasses tucked into her shirt throughout.

Oooh, Alex is FEISTY in this episode! Can’t you just see it in these stills? First she’s in a white tank with her black bra straps hangin out all classy like, her shades tucked into her shirt, baggy mechanic pants, and white shoes. Next shes’s in some casual khakis and a cropped dark tank, with a cross body bag. Oh and we can’t forget those giant hoops. And the bra straps are sparkly because they’re supposed to show! Haha, I love the 2000s. And for the presidential debate, Alex’s style is again, mechanic-chic. She wears a white tank under what looks like a work shirt all tied up, and some black baggy pants with those white shoes.

Whoa you guys. We’ve made it to Season 4! This is wild! Ah, 2004. I was a sophomore & junior in high school, listening to heavy metal, shopping at Hot Topic, playing Snake on my Nokia phone, playing my PS2, editing my Myspace, and of course, watching Degrassi! We return to Season 4 with Alex still wearing the same kind of style – cool shades, a headphone necklace, cross body bag, hoop earrings, and a zip up hoodie.

This is just downtrodden Manny being constantly pursued by and disappointed in JT. It’s kinda sad that we don’t actually get to SEE if anyone is harassing her about her pregnancy or subsequent abortion. This was to coddle the US audience I’m sure, but I wonder if anyone really would have bullied or shamed her? What kind of things might be said in the halls? First she wears this Asian-inspired blouse with a zip-up short sleeve hoodie which is kinda hilarious but also really realistic in that our outfits back then really weren’t very put-together. Next she’s seen in like a racing jacket of some kind. The next shirt is a floral ruffly bell sleeve blouse which is super cute. And finally, the famous patchwork fur jacket with casual khakis. Manny wears her hair in a resigned low bun throughout, symbolizing her shame and penance.

A new episode is already upon us. This is a fun one too, because we get to hang out with the baddies! And we kick off with Alex, one of my favorite characters ever. I love early Alex too, because she’s so intimidating and mysterious. We haven’t yet seen her living situation or her vulnerabilities. She’s got this stacked hair cut and wears a lot of plain tees, tanks, zip up hoodies, and hoop earrings. Also the headphones necklace. What are all these baddies listening to, anyway? Oh yeah, and get a load of these baggy khakis. YES. Okay, I do want to say that we see a little snippet of vulnerability when Alex is very upset about Amy passing out. I also think it’s kind of weird that like, the next school day Alex (Jay actually) is asking how Amy is? Come on. I think Alex would know. I really don’t believe Alex would avoid seeing Amy in the hospital or whatever.

Wow, one of Terri’s very last moments here on broomheadz. What a bummer! She wears a half unfinished ponytail, a zip up hoodie over a flowery tee, and a jean jacket. On the fateful day at the park, she wears a horizontal-striped polo, a jean jacket, some weird looking pajama pants, and white shoes. And unfortunately the last outfit really isn’t an outfit. It’s a hospital gown. Terri really would have been a continued asset for Degrassi. I would have liked to get to know her better, ya know?
