First, we have one of the dudes at the lunch table in a greyish v-neck. Then, the bike courier delivery man brings condoms to Ashley’s house in a full on outfit like he’s ready to do the Tour de France or something. Then, the cashier at the drugstore – whom I almost just referred to as a condom salesman – spends some time embarrassing Jimmy in some tourist-lookin button down. And finally, the janitor – I think this is Lou – sweeping up after all those sloppy kids.

Paige sure is smug in this episode. She takes on this opportunity, when cast as the Juliet to Jimmy’s Romeo, to make Ashley squirm. Then when people start to murmur about the fact that Paige isn’t a virgin, Ashley starts to feel the pressure to put out. So first Paige is in pigtails, complete with the face-framing tendrils, hoop earrings, and a pink top. Then she wears a grey tank (I can’t make out what it says though) and lots of silver jewelry. I remember how unbelievably tacky anything gold seemed at the time. Had to stick with silver. And finally, we get a peek at this purple tank, blue bra straps? and a strawberry necklace.

First, Liberty wears a pinkish button down and a greenish snap up hoodie, and some wide leg dark wash jeans. Then she wears a classic Liberty red/green/brown horizontal striped long sleeve top with red pants.

JT is always looking cool as hell. He’s wearing an orange Hawaiian shirt, unbuttoned over a white tee. That tee’s sleeves are also longer than the overshirt itself, which is always a look. And he completes the look with that man necklace that I don’t know what it’s called, and a red backwards cap. Then he wears an oversized tie-dye tee.

Oh yeah, it’s Valentine’s Day! So our first image is the custom chain that Ashley is gifting to Jimmy. It’s kind of hilarious, it looks like it was cut out with scissors. First he’s in a jersey over a white tee. Then he wears a grey baggy long sleeve tee. And to his bang date he wears a long sleeved hooded tee, in more grey. He reports his L (as in his lack of tail) while wearing a blue hoodie and his new chain.

The contrast between grade 7 and grade 8 is amazing. While Ashley is ready to go to pound town with Jimmy, Emma is still sporting pigtails and dolphin pants. THREE pigtails to be exact. Anyway, let’s start from the beginning here. First, Emma in a yellow and orange tie-dye tee. THEN is the three pigtails, the best thing ever, and her famous famous dolphin pants. In case you didn’t know already, these dolphin pants are legendary, iconic, one of Degrassi’s most famous garments. She wears a plain blue shirt so as not to distract from the pants themselves. Then, she wears three pigtails AGAIN, with jeans, a jean jacket, and a peachy tee. One time, I wore three pigtails. I think I was in kindergarten. My mom recalls the story. She said one day I woke up for school and insisted on three pigtails; nothing else would do. So, I feel ya, Emma. It’s a look.

Welcome to the next episode – The Mating Game! As you may remember, this is the episode where Ashley and Jimmy plan to do the deed, and as fate would have it, we get to kick things off with Ashley herself! First, she wears a headband, hoops, a white v-neck tee, and a random cross necklace. Then, she’s got a dark red tank, grey pants, more hoops, and she’s beginning to fume as Paige tries to mess with her a little bit after being cast as the Juliet to Jimmy’s Romeo. Then, she wears a pale purple polo, the perfect top to seduce your boyfriend in. But then she dresses up for the real deed – the “best laid plans” if you will. She wears a navy and red tank dress that may very well be Tommy Hilfiger. But of course by the next school day, she’s still a virgin, and wearing that orange camo tank.

S1E5: Parents Day
Aired: 2001

Tracker really tried for parents day it seems. He’s wearing a long sleeve tee in a deep green color, and some khakis. A LITTLE more cleaned up than usual, I appreciate the effort. Although I’m already tired of these muted dark 2000s colors I see on everyone. And he does yell at Emma, which is just, really freaking weird. Should have been a deleted scene.
