Darcy WAS gonna be Mina in the play until she had some kind of weird uncharacteristic outburst. So enjoy your one look at her in rehearsal, wearing a petticoat, corset, and hat, with her cute little short hair in one of those 2000s pompadours.

We get Danny hanging around in this episode, just a little bit – because he’s in the play. Is he Johnathan? I can’t remember. Anyway, here he is in a typical outfit, but most notable are those wide-legged pants which I miss so much these days.

Craig and his goulash mouth are onto Ashley. There’s definitely tension between them as she is acting like his caretaker rather than his girlfriend. He wears some of the usual – denim, leather, tees, and probably Chucks on his feet.

While some girls are worried about BJs and bracelets, Ashley is worried about her bipolar boo. First she’s seen brooding in a jean jacket. Then she wears this crazy shirt that looks like some sort of DIY hybrid combining tigers and basketball. She wears low-rise jeans with a studded belt, and a khaki jacket later on.

Amy is SUCH a perfect 2000s badgirl, especially combined with Alex. They are terrifying. She wears that tight ponytail, those tight shirts, pencil-thin eyebrows, and of course, those “wire” plastic bracelets…

“We hunger, we long.” For some reason, Alex is into drama (like, on stage, not just in the halls). She looks hilarious here in rehearsal with these shades, hoops, bra straps hangin out, and hair up in a clip. And shoutout to one of my favorite Alex looks, “the sexy mechanic” – baggy jeans and a cropped tank under what looks like a men’s workshirt tied up at the waist.

Ew, what do you think of Spinner and Manny as a couple? Weird as hell, right? Somehow much weirder than Spinner and Paige. Anyway, he’s still looking the best he’ll ever look right now, with that haircut. He wears a tee, ball bearing necklace, and also has that skateboarder black strap belt that hangs down the front leg. He’s also seen in his Dot uniform.

I have a few group shots of random extras to serve you today. First is just a classroom shot without much worth singling out. Then we have everyone at the assembly, featuring a rarely-seen hijab. And finally, this shot outside at the picnic table showcasing some low rise casual khakis, baggy jeans, and flares.

Wow… I wasn’t anticipating doing such a heavy post here and now. These are Raditch’s last moments at Degrassi. And unfortunately he kind of ducks out of the school and the show in a very anticlimactic way. But we have to acknowledge that this is the end of an era. Raditch has been with us since 1987. This is the beginning of the show phasing out the original characters. All things must come to an end. But my heart is tied so strongly to the original series, to our roots, to everyone and everything that inspired all of this. And although this TNG Raditch was not necessarily a “good person”, I believe that in DJH, he was. And we must give him credit there. It’s sad and a shame to see him not only leave the school, but leave on kind of bad terms. Sure, one could say his character brought it on himself. But it’s still bittersweet. He leaves… Caitlin leaves.. Joey leaves… Spike leaves… we don’t get any more surprise visits from anyone… and the kids forget there was ever an OG crew. Oh, except Snake. Snake stays forever.

Anyway, Raditch wears a suit like always, representing the fact that we never really got to know the true him. And he’s trying to act happy but really, he’s pissed. Goodbye Raditch, we hardly knew ye.
