DTNGFASHION S4E5: Anywhere I Lay My Head Aired: 2004
First Jimmy is over here trying to be the most diplomatic member of the band, wearing an oversized striped polo. Then we see a new, sassy side of his style as he wears this open button down complete with a popped collar. Kind of an eerie image of Jimmy pointing the hose at Rick. I bet they planned it like this, didn’t they?
Liberty wears a very 2000s swimsuit with that oversized floral print in ugly colors. She also wears very tiny sunglasses. She’s seen in the washroom in a red polo and her usual red plaid bag, and then in a pink horizontally striped tee.
Oh yeah, I remember that Ellie is kinda questioning this ribbon campaign. There’s a lot to unpack there. She and Sean were like “Um no thanks.” It’s hard to say why. I mean, I guess they both thought it was better to simply not engage, to not get involved. Emma and friends were, seemingly, about REVENGE. And Sean and Ellie probably would have just been more content to ignore Rick’s existence. Then again, they weren’t close to Terri and probably weren’t privy to the whole story of her relationship to Rick. But… neither was Emma.
Oh, right, fashion. Ellie has these cute little hair clips and a side part. As someone who is her age, I feel like those weren’t cool at the time necessarily. Because that’s exactly how we’d wear our hair in elementary school in the 90s. So why would we do this in high school? These clips are exactly what I did when I was growing my bangs out in 2nd grade, ya know? However, I do like this, I do think it’s cute, and it has risen to become a modern trend – partly thanks to the e-girl aesthetic. So technically Ellie was way ahead of her time. She also wears her red collar and a chain necklace, and some dark striped top.
Liberty gets treated kind of viciously by Emma. What a gross little plotline. Anyway, Liberty can sure dish it right back! She starts to take a liking to Chris, wearing this greenish tee and a striped zip up hoodie and her hair half back. She also has her classic plaid Liberty purse. The next ‘fit is a grey shirt for gym. And then she’s in a checkered short sleeve button down with capris. And a tongue of fire.
Dylan time! First he’s in a horizontally-striped polo, sporting his usual big hair. Then he’s in another polo, with more horizontal striping. Not the most exciting outfits ever but.. there you have it. We also see him being super sketchy with Marco wearing a TO Maple Leafs short.

Dang, are we already at the part where Liberty says she and Towerz broke up? Now there’s a relationship I would have liked a little peek into. Lib wears her usual red plaid bag, a jean jacket, a striped shirt, and reddish/pinkish capris with white shoes.
Liberty is first seen wearing a mauve shirt and I think overalls. Then she brings back the “sharp yet casual” orange striped polo from school picture day forever ago! She wears it with a maroon cardi and casual khakis. She’s really trying to push Manny and JT together for some reason, idk.
Ah yes, Amy gets a nice roundup this episode. She always wears a high ponytail. We see her in a couple of jackets and hoodies, and then she decides to try moving in on Sean again in a horizontally-striped v-neck and low-rise pants. I wanna just skip right to THE party outfit. It’s a great athletic-inspired off-the shoulder top, with a mini skirt and boots. Fantastic!

Here’s the collection of random shots and group shots from this episode. We see some baggy pants, chunky shoes, sparkly chains, horizontal stripes, scrunched hair, zip up hoodies, and Hell Hath No Fury in all their glory. Also this announcer guy at the mic, I don’t know who he is but I feel like he’s some kind of a famous athlete, like a basketball player.

Wow, one of Terri’s very last moments here on broomheadz. What a bummer! She wears a half unfinished ponytail, a zip up hoodie over a flowery tee, and a jean jacket. On the fateful day at the park, she wears a horizontal-striped polo, a jean jacket, some weird looking pajama pants, and white shoes. And unfortunately the last outfit really isn’t an outfit. It’s a hospital gown. Terri really would have been a continued asset for Degrassi. I would have liked to get to know her better, ya know?
