Our knight in shining denim is just wearing the same thing he always does – a white tee and denim jacket.

Marco is wearing an open white button down over a grey v-neck, a man necklace, some really cool slightly tinted aviator shades, and something that I need to start a new sentence for. Marco is wearing flared jeans. This is possibly the last known sighting of a man wearing bellbottoms in all of history. This is so meaningful to me. I must have lived in the 70s in a past life because the sight of a man in bellbottoms makes me incredibly happy. I am sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the trend to come back. And I guess Marco just wears this same outfit on both Friday and Saturday because this is all I’ve got for ya.

First Ellie is sporting an elaborate purplish braided updo, with frosty eyeshadow, dark lips, a bellybutton ring, denim skirt, a black vest thing over a grey tee and mesh long sleeves, knee-high socks, and chunky shoes. Oh yeah and a close up of this triple-buckle grommeted belt accenting that low-rise skirt. People are so quick to call her “goth” but she’s so different than goth. Her style is really unique, I love it. She gets her cartilage pierced like it was nothing and goes along on her way. Next, is El in RED. I hate when people say redheads shouldn’t wear red or pink. Because I LIVE for it. This getup is bomb. A red flare-sleeve shirt under a black tank, plaid skirt, spiked necklace, and another braided updo. I adore this!

Craig Manning Fashion 2.6

This episode stars Craig, who still wears a lot of black, brown, and navy. As you may recall, this is the episode where Joey entrusts his house to Craig for the weekend while he goes on a sex getaway. Craig ends up stealing one of Joey’s cars and going on a joy ride. Then Joey loses his shit as though he’s never heard of anyone doing such a thing. Well, Joey, maybe you need a reminder that not only did you do the exact same thing, but you actually got in a little accident. Ya jerk.

Anyway, first…. Craig wears brown. Then he wears some more brown. Oh this color scheme is terrible. The wardrobe department did this on purpose to demonstrate how lost and damaged Craig is. But it’s bad. Ope, and that’s the end of Craig’s fashion show. He also sports a shaggy bedhead ‘do as always.

Dude, I love this episode. I love both the A plot and the B plot. AND I just realized that this is Ashley’s actual blossoming into a goth goddess. We’ve seen hints of it approaching, but since the last episode she has chopped her hair off and is now dressed as a full queen. It’s interesting because, you can tell that independently, Ashley was feeling dark. But then it’s like, when she met Ellie, Ashley really let her goth flag fly. And forgive me for rambling, as someone who feels Ashley is a kindred spirit. But I totally understand Ashley, not only in her real natural inclination to the dark side, but also her need to compensate where she feels insecure still, especially around seasoned alt-girl Ellie. Ellie on the other hand isn’t trying to impress Ashley or anyone. But anyway, this is our first Degrassi goth since Faith of DJH, and I welcome her with open arms.

Ashley wears a short do and long nails; black choker and hoop earrings; black netted top and black skirt; chunky black shoes. The situation here is that Ashley wants to get a piercing for street cred to be a comparable friend to Ellie. The next day, she wears a dark cardi over yet another black ensemble. This pencil skirt has lacing down the front which I love. I had one just like it. She’s got another majestic choker on today, along with frosty blue eyeshadow and some dark lip gloss. And then of course she has an embarrassing bailout on the piercing table. Her fear of needles was stronger than her desire for clout.

And welcome to Ashley’s official goth stage. I hate to call it a phase. Even though eventually she evolves into more of a rocker type, I don’t think that is a betrayal of her goth/alt roots. They’re still there, but sometimes it’s just more practical to tone it down a bit. I don’t doubt her sincerity as a goth, even though it doesn’t last forever. And I really really enjoy it. It’s rather jarring, especially toward the end of season 2. Jarringly majestic. (Majestic being the word that I will overuse to describe her elegance.)

Terri looks beautiful in blue! She’s wearing her hair half up in an unfinished ponytail, hoop earrings, and  blue button down open over a tee.

Ladies and gentlemen, the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Oh my gosh. Spinner’s boner pants. At first, he’s all happy to be getting spontaneous boners, because he’s a sex superman. Until it happens as he’s standing before the class in track pants. And track pants, Paige wisely points out, should never be worn. Anyway, Spinner is sporting the usual spiked hair, earrings, and necklace, graphic tees, and strangely, athletic pants which are only seen on him for boners and pantsing episodes, as I recall.

Looks like Spike is just cloaked in darkness this whole episode here in her dimly-lit house. First she’s wearing a white v-neck and a blue zip up hoodie. Then she’s watching the tube with snake in what looks like cropped jeans and a red vest over a blue tee. And after the formal event, she’s wearing what looks like the red dress from the class reunion, but it’s hard to tell because she’s basically covered her entire body with a shawl. I always hated when people do that – what’s the point of wearing a beautiful dress if you’re going to walk around basically wrapped in a blanket?
