Toby is still serving us the drabbest of colors this episode, but peep that shot I got of his chunky shoes and those shorts that come like halfway down the calf. I miss those. Oh yeah, Toby is really excited to dial in to the net and check out some stills from Swamp Sex Robots while everyone else is at the dance.

Once again I’m shocked at discovering another parent with a first name. Y’all, this is Todd. Terri’s dad is the first dad I’ve ever seen who is excited about his girl to be “out dancing with boys”. Polar opposite of Voula’s dad – go out there and get you some, Terri! Terri’s dad is one of the more casual dads we see – he wears a flannel with rolled up sleeves. I wonder what his job is – I don’t think they ever said.

Our first episode starring Terri! Often dressing for comfort, she starts off with a white tee, blue zip up hoodie, a ponytail, and a necklace with earrings. And… wait… pajama pants? Okay so here we have Terri wearing pajama pants to school. Yes, yes, I remember this horror. I’ve pretty much always been a little shocked and put off by this since I first saw it in about 2002.

But I do want to take a moment to talk about wearing pajama pants in public. It used to be a thing, I suppose. However, obviously in high school it was banned. I think because you could easily pull them off, and everyone knows that high schoolers are only wanting to pull each other’s clothes off. Everyone could not wait to get to college because the rumor was, you can wear pajamas to class. Hell yeah! Let me state that I was never the type who longed to wear my pajamas to school. But once I got to college, I joined a sorority that also had a rule where you couldn’t wear pajamas to class. Foiled again. But the 2000s have since passed. And to be honest, I’m not even sure if people still wear pajama pants like this even in their own home anymore? Anyway, the battle for public pajamas has ended. Because we have since found a compromise – leggings or similar workout clothes in public. They’re comfortable, and if anyone asks, you ‘just came from the gym’!

But here we are, and Terri did not just come from the gym. She took the time to fix her hair, put in jewelry, but not to put on pants. And that’s just the truth.

Moving on, Paige and Ashley hot Terri up for the dance. She wears a black spaghetti strap top, a pastel piano recital chiffon pencil skirt, and platform mules, which are necessary to create a sturdy foundation for drunken legs. Her hair is also in a twisty formation. What would you call this? Similar to cornrows, but twists. Anyway, we all agree she looks fine as hell. And she gets down at the dance. However, like Stephanie Kaye, the crazy dance puts her down for the count.

The final image is reminiscent to the walk of shame. She’s back in pajamas again. Haha just kidding, all I can see is a grey zip up hoodie, and regret. And that freaking unfinished ponytail. What is it with the 2000s and wearing no color, all pajamas, and sloppy hair?

One little Spike moment – she drops Emma off at the dance in a red tank and some giant hoop earrings.

Snake is wearing a dark olive green polo and some cargo pants. His wardrobe is still completely drained of colors.

OUR KNIGHT IN SHINING DENIM HAS ARRIVED! Rick pulls up on Frank’s motorcycle – whoops, I mean, Sean pulls up on Tracker’s motorcycle, apparently not for his first round at Degrassi, but he’s back now after some time away. He first appears in a white shirt and jean jacket, jeans, and black tennis shoes. Then he goes to the dance as if someone is holding a gun to his head, even though he’s literally going of his own choice. Oh yeah, for that he’s wearing a blue tee shirt.

So this “minor character” section is where I not only place unidentified people, but it’s where I’ll also post group shots that I didn’t want to separate. Of course we get a lot of baggy pants, chunky shoes, tight shirts, and cap sleeves.

It’s still so surreal to me that I have made it to TNG on this blog. I’m still laughing to myself like, “I’m literally typing ‘Paige Michalchuk’ right now. Wow.”  First she wears this shirt with “2 Spoiled” written on it, and it’s just hilarious. I kinda miss these days. “100% angel” and “Princess” and whatnot. Her hair is slightly curled under and accented with some random braids. She also wears capris, pedal pushers, whatever they’re called now. And some chunky tennis shoes. Classic! Her look for the dance is great too. A baby purple cropped tee, a miniskirt, a chain belt, hoop earrings, some platform mules, and some nice hair twists. And finally, the main ingredient on her last outfit is this smug facial expression, as she steals Terri’s man in a jean jacket, princess necklace, hoop earrings, and red-tinted sunglasses.

Manny’s role right now is just 100% Emma supporting. So I am not getting the best shots yet, but just you wait. First she wears this low scrunchied ponytail with a little blue tee, and then a colorblock 3/4-length tee of pinks and purples with jeans. And the scrunchie returns, in pink this time. Also had to get that backpack with the keychain. Remember when it was so much fun to put tons of keychains all over your backpack?

Liberty wears a long-sleeved maroon polo with a giant collar, and has her hair pulled back into a ponytail. For the dance she wears a reddish long sleeve tee which has that type of paisley-reminiscent design on it that a lot of shirts from that age had. And she wears it with some big ol’ overalls. Good for dancing.
