We are gonna finish off this episode with Spinner – AKA, “Sticks”. Or is it Stix? Who knows. Anyway, he’s the biggest jerk of the whole band right now, antagonizing Ashley. Why y’all like Spinner so much? I may dislike him, but I love his hair and trashy style at the moment. Tees, ball bearing necklaces, baggy pants, chains, and piercings.
Time for the randoms! First is a shot on the front steps. We see a few things – cross body bags, layers on laters, and baggy silhouettes. Then a group shot of yoga class, (which everyone is doing wrong,) way before everyone wore skin-tight leggings. Then at the bar we see a bouncer and a bartender in very plain clothes but I included them anyway. Is this the same bouncer at the Kevin Smith party?? Next is the recording studio people, also dressed boringly except for those cool classes.
Paige time! Like I’ve been saying, I LOVE this era of Paige’s style. Her hair is bomb, her complexion is glowing, and the colors she picks are GREAT. I am living for this off-shoulder, baby blue ruched top, with jeans, silver jewelry, and that textured hairstyle. In yoga, gah I’m sorry but none of these kids are doing it right. Anyway, in yoga, she wears a cute ponytail, a maroon tank, and yoga pants. We get a brief glimpse of that dehumanizing work uniform before we’re back in yoga, in PINK! And finally, Paige is going to the club looking like a 2000s hottie. She wears this cowl neck pink blouse layered over a white cami, because layers were everything. She also has that poof in her hair, which I still do. She’s all accessorized complete with her tiny purse. And she’s wearing KHAKIS to the club.
Enter, Mr. O. The hot student teacher, who is open to dating students. He’s a hard one to pin down. Is he an academic, or a hippie? Is he a slob, or is he motivated? Is he a nomad, or is he a professional? Is he a yoga teacher, or a druggie? Is he preppy, or is he greasy? I dunno, he kinda looks like he’s trying and failing to look nice. He wears sweaters and undershirts which look nice-casual but his hair is disgusting. He’s also seen in his yoga attire, and then he wears “long sleeve shirt under short sleeve shirt” at the bar.
Marco time! He’s kinda being a little bitch just like Spinner. Have a problem?! Talk about it, Marco! Don’t just be salty! Ugh. Anyway, his hair looks awesome. It’s so styled and like, positioned, and I love it. First he’s in this athletic-looking tee in maroon and gold. Then he’s in yoga wearing his classic capris and a tank. He’s then seen in a variety of Marco-looking clothes – tees, zipper jackets, beanies, bracelets, etc. but I wanted to give a proper shoutout to the accordion, and also the braces.
Manny is hilarious in this episode. She kind of “joins the band” per Spinner’s request. I don’t really know why she goes along with it all so smugly, I mean it’s kind of out of character for her. Buuuut maybe she just wants to be petty and annoy Craig and Ashley. Or maybe Spinner’s piss poor attitude rubbed off on her. Anyway, her style is POPPIN’ today. First is this cropped halter shirt with a pink and blue floral print on it, paired with suuuuuper low rise jeans. I’m really starting to look back at the 2000s with disgust. Not because I hate the style, but because of these unrealistic body expectations. The NEXT outfit is one of my favorites!! An orange cowboy hat with a diagonally-striped orange tube top and jean skirt. Are we SERIOUS!? I mean, Manny’s style was really out there. Realistically, no one would be wearing this to school. It’s a fantasy but I love it. Manny’s style at this point is like, things you’d see in a music video. Not the halls of school. And the final fit is more PINK – this big pink newsboy hat and a pink tracksuit. LOVE.
You may have forgotten that we actually DO SEE Heather Sinclair. Here she is, back there behind Paige, with those “trashy roots”. Looks more like super 2000s chunky highlights. She’s also wearing a 3/4 sleeve shirt, and sadly, that’s all we can get out of these pictures.
