Hazel isn’t dressed in the most interesting outfit for detention, unfortunately. But she still landed a boyfriend anyway I guess. So she wears this button down that’s got some kinda weird design on it. She wears her hair down with a headband, flare jeans, and her usual platform shoes. Then back at school we see her for a minute in a similarly-patterned v-neck and her cross body bag.

Paige is wearing her hair clipped back and a sweet baby blue top layered over more baby blue. And really not helping Manny in any way.

Manny is not dressing sexily for the moment, but things ARE looking up. Briefly. Craig is suddenly interested in her again. Her first outfit is a lavender top and a toned-down low bun in her hair. The second outfit is a significant one in the files of my brain. Underneath is a long sleeve pinky-red shirt, and over top is an awesome red jean jacket and those square hoop earrings. And finally, she’s dressed for an abortion in a nice track suit.

JT is overjoyed to pass the burden of being Liberty’s crushee on to Sean Cameron. He’s still rocking the shaggy-haired bed-head look like many of the other dudes. His attire is also the standard JT formula of an open shirt over a tee, in less exciting colors than his grade 7 days, and a necklace. I do want to draw attention to the short sleeves layered over long sleeves, another trend which I do not see these days. As I always say, getting old is suddenly realizing certain things aren’t cool anymore.

Emma and Manny have finally reconciled their recent tension because they can bond over Manny’s pregnancy. Emma is dressed like the perfect high school hippie. First, a navy peasant blouse and jeans. Next is a burgundy boho kinda top with casual khakis! And finally, a floral button down open over a cami with a jean skirt and her knee-hanging purse. She also rocks a middle part the whole time. So whoever said that millennials don’t do middle parts, see this.

Ellie wears her hair pulled half up, lots of jewelry, and a strange combo today. A greenish plaid dress, mesh sleeves, and red and black arm warmers. Must be laundry day.

Ew, gross. Here’s the sleazy impregnator now. First he’s wearing an Oktoberfest shirt under a flannel. Then, maybe a Pink Floyd shirt under a leather jacket. And finally, a raglan tee which for some reason just looks like pajamas to me. Also his hair is just huge and out of control.

Chris is still just over here dressin’ like the coolest dude of Degrassi, in an oversized jean jacket, a chain, and a newsboy hat.

Manny is the star of the show today. She’s also the star of the gymnastics team. So we get several shots of the practice leotards, tracksuit, and also the fancy meet leotard. But on to her regular clothes – first we get a classic Manny look – an asymmetrical off-the-shoulder top featuring a tropical landscape. The exposed bra strap and newsboy hat are very nice touches. But things go downhill from there. And like Stephanie Kaye, we can see that as Manny begins to feel more downtrodden, her wardrobe tends to reflect that. So her hair is just worn in a plain low ponytail, minimal accessories, and a brown shirt. Then she’s running in athletic clothes and a zipup hoodie (love that scene!). And then, she waits for Craig in again, not the typical Manny attire.
