We return to the B-plot: Craig Becomes Rich. He wears his trusty Converse and leather jacket, with typical jeans and tees, and also throws on a jean jacket there at the end. I gotta say, I do really prefer this haircut. It looks so much more, intentional.

We kick off Part 2 with Ashley. Ugh, reconciling with Craig unfortunately. I still don’t understand how this happens. Although, I am reminded of this one time in college, I was walking by the Student Union Building, and this super cool guy was walking past me, opening some mail. This super cool guy like hardly ever spoke and just seemed too good for everyone. Anyway, he opened this envelope and he got a huge check for a bunch of money. So he exclaimed this to me, since I was the closest person around. We weren’t friends or anything but I was low-key honored for that interaction. My point is, that good fortune can bring people together. Craig getting a whole bunch of money is what reignited the conversation between the two. Anyway, on to the fashion. Carrying over from last episode, Ash is wearing that reddish denim jacket. Then she’s in something really weird – a tee with like, denim sleeves? Not sure how that worked. Maybe it’s a tee layered over a denim shirt. But that doesn’t seem comfortable. And this shirt says “F-14 Tomcat”, which I googled, and it is an aircraft. lol. Learning every day. Her hair is just really flipped out and really choppy. I can never decide if I like it. I mean, Ashley is hot though. I feel like she’s one of those people that just exudes some type of majesty in person. Oh yeah, and I added this last screenshot to show the low-rise jeans and studded belt.

You know, sometimes I feel like Craig and Ashley should just leave each other alone. But then I look at Craig’s hair and I also look at his face when he’s laughing at Ashley’s poem and I’m just like nah – Ashley, go get him.

He’s dressed really realistically I think, for a high school “rocker-guy”. Similar to Ashley, his style is subtle yet noticeable. First he wears a red tee under an open button down as well as a leather jacket. Then, idk, more tee shirts and jeans, blah blah, some casual khakis, some Converse, and later a jean jacket.

Okay, here’s the random stuff from this episode. We see some group shots of short shirts, flared or baggy jeans, drawstring backpacks with those flap lids, and some lady at Caitlin’s office wearing a blazer made out of plastic. And the last picture is a photo I can hear. “That was an even STUPIDER movie!” *everyone laughs* Anyway I think the girl with the updo is particularly noteworthy when it comes to 2000s style.

Paige wears her hair pinned half-back, her cool girl aviators, and a pink denim jacket as she announces she gets to use her parents’ van. In Kwan’s class, she wears this top that kind of looks like a patchwork colored camo thing. And then at the park, it’s obivously not as warm as they’d like it to be since everyone is wearing jackets and Paige wears a long cardi of varying greens blending together. And her pants are always cuffed, the poor dear. And next, she’s in class wearing casual khakis, a brown belt, pointy boots, and a white top. The final outfit is the yarn-lined jean jacket and a star messenger bag.

Today I deliver to you loads of Ellie in one of her best fashion phases! So this is the episode where she’s a new girlfriend but doesn’t quite understand that being a girlfriend involves spending some alone time with the boyfriend. So let’s break down these ‘fits, shall we?

First, we have the FAMOUS Ellie side-pony for this entire episode. The first outfit is a black tank layered over black long sleeves, and accessorized with a statement belt and lots of spiky jewelry. I swear, this was my absolute dream wardrobe in high school. I didn’t quite have the resources to accomplish exactly that look but this is right up my alley. I forgot what the skirt is made of but it looks like tulle. I also got a shot of the back of her hair which features some braiding. I wonder if Ellie did that herself? Cuz we know her momma didn’t.

For the date, she wears an elegant long trench coat over a red blouse. The next fit is a zip up hoodie and some camo, over which we are again blessed with that trench. We also see the famous Ellie wedge boots. I swear, she is such a fashionista, I actually think it’s strange no one ever comments on her wardrobe.

And lastly, I just realized that the final outfit is… the same as the first outfit!

Alex is too-cool-for-school as always, rocking the short hair, hoops, a zip-up hoodie, a jean skirt, and some boots – which admittedly aren’t really her typical style. I guess she got dressed up for double date night.

Of course, Sean is in detention and that’s perhaps the most expected person to be there. His detention outfit consists of baggy jeans, chunky tennis shoes, a wife beater, a zip up hoodie, a beanie, and his headphones necklace. And for the reconciliation with Ellie on Monday, he’s sporting a bandanna. You know, I really like Sean and Ellie together. Somehow it works.
