New episode starts now, and what a morbid title we have here! I know these episode titles all come from 80s songs, but I’m not sure if I know this one or not. Anyway, we kick things off with some nice scenes of Alex and Paige at the movie theatre concession stand. Ah, that brown polyester! Then we move on to her regular clothes. Simplistic as it is, I always adore her style. That short haircut, the huge hoops, cross-body bag, tank tops with bra straps hanging out, and cool shades. Always an icon!

Paige is here in this episode to shun Ellie, and then to shun Manny. lol. She’s wearing this peachy-corally top layered over a cami and a medallion necklace. After a brief cheer uniform moments, we see her in this hilarious mini cardi. Yes, that’s such a 2000s thing. I had mini cardis like this one. She’s got it layered over a long pink cami. Also her regular pink bag is pictured here.

Manny returns for Venus Part 2! First she’s seen tooootally hung over in these lime green PJs and Emma’s parents seem to be totally okay with it. Next, Manny is clad in a Canadian tuxedo – jean jacket, low rise jeans, white tennies, and a frilly blue shirt underneath. This shirt has ruffles and bounce and it kinda matches her hair – which looks fantastic by the way. DAMN I love this hair! Then we return to the tracksuit vibes, though I don’t think we have any velour.

More evidence for JT’s preppy-boy stage, as demonstrated here with these layered collars and shaggy hair. OMG and that butt-sniffing video he is watching really grosses me out. Still, isn’t it wild that we have been watching funny memey videos on the internet since at least 2005? Isn’t that when YouTube was created? Wild. Wait, JT isn’t even hooked up to the internet here. He must have downloaded that sh*t on KaZaA or something.

I love when Hazel and Paige are kinda coordinating. Here at the lunch table, Haze is in a sea-foam green and Paige is in a corally-pink. At cheer practice she has this awesome athleisure halter, and finally she’s in a blue blouse with a tie at the neck. And she’s sporting the super skinny eyebrows. I used to think that was so pretty. A part of me still does.

Our BABE of Season 5 is back! Okay, tbh there are many babes in S5. But I just love Emma’s era here. Her hair is bouncy; she’s out of those 90s bangs and excessive athleisure wear. First she’s in her PJs which consist of a spaghetti strap tank and PJ pants. Then she wears a white v-neck layered over a cami, with a shell necklace. Her style so interestingly conveys “yeah I’m a hottie but I also love the environment.” Maybe it’s all the earth tones. Speaking of earth tones, the next ‘fit is this sweater that ombre transitions from beige to brown, paired with brown pants. This is where she condemns Manny. But as we can see, that doesn’t last long because here they are the next day holding hands at school. Oh lord, the chest ruffles on this shirt. Not to blog but I was the QUEEN of chest ruffles in college in the late 2000s. Emma makes it boho by adding this leather tie belt to her low-rise jeans.

Gawd. Ellie being a drummer is the most unconvincing thing I’ve ever seen. I’m squirming. I really don’t like Ellie much from this season forward, but her situation in this episode is kinda sad. She’s being shunned by Craig and desperately she hangs out with Paige and Hazel at lunch. She momentarily convinces them to revive Hell Hath No Fury, but then the next day they’re like “umm what are you even talking about?” El’s style these days is a little less mix-n-match-DIY-mall-goth and a little more… emo meets biker or something. She’s got normal girl hair and wears a series of arguably “classier” black outfits.
