Manny’s not doing a lot. We see her in a blue baseball tee and tiny braids. Then in a 3/4 sleeve pink turtleneck and, of course, the same hair, because I’ve caught on to the TNG filming pattern.

JT first wears a long sleeve navy tee with flame detailing on the ends of the sleeves. Perfect. JT reminds me of Bart Simpson a lot. Anyway, he also wears a necklace and backwards hat. Oh yeah, and he’s salty because Dr. Sally isn’t teaching them sex – instead it’s Armstrong. There are a couple more ensembles pictured here, including more backwards hats. But let’s move on to the condom outfit that Spinner puts on him – high fashion! But for real though, we have another shirt with flames, just love it.

Jimmy the Hesitant is, wearing a whole bunch of normal people clothes throughout this episode. As usual, his attire is nothing noteworthy or remarkable, which actually serves a purpose for once – it is a stark contrast to the effort and creativity Ashley puts into her alternative look. I really don’t feel the need to break down these simple ‘fits for you, but I will note it’s a lot of tees, athletic wear, and of course his arm band/sweatband.

Hazel is kind of serving as an area of concern for Ashley in this episode, because Hazel is just, normal, whereas Ashley is not. And Ash sees Jimmy recognizing that – that perhaps it would be easier to simply, date a normie. First she’s seen in a tan textured collared blouse, hoop earrings, horseshoe necklace, and a brown headband. Then, she wears cool shades, a beige top, some dark (maybe corduroy?) pants, another headband, and a red zip up hoodie. And finally, during her skit with Jimmy, she wears her Spirit Squad uniform.

Ellie wears a jean skirt, grommet belt, a long sleeve tee with a watercolory print of browns and blues, and a black tank over the top. She accessorizes with a silver pendant, purple eyeshadow, and crimped hair. Always looking awesome. (Til she gets to college and borings out.)

Craig is wearing a navy v-neck sweater over a white tee… Then, a grey tee under what looks like a black denim jacket – and don’t worry, his hideous camera strap is back as his most outstanding accessory. In the woods he’s got.. a BROWN tee… under a navy v-neck.. and a black leather jacket. Ugh. I know these things are more accepted as “going together” these days but it still doesn’t feel right. And for the little skit he puts on with Ash, he literally (poorly) dresses like his dad, down to the glasses. Disturbing.

Our favorite mom, Kate, is wearing gold hoops, a gold necklace, a red collared shirt, and a beige ribbed cardigan. And watching Ashley tear Jimmy apart.

We are reaching the PEAK of Goth Ashley. And this episode, is all about just that. Discrimination against the goths. There’s something about the opening scene here, the overwhelming camera angle, just does a great job of portraying Jimmy’s overwhelmed point of view. (You may remember that Jimmy’s having second thoughts about dating a goth.) First we see her in a scoop neck kinda top, a choker, and extra makeup. The next shot is a beautiful closeup of her smoky eye. I also got a shot of those shimmery nails. Here in the hall it actually looks like she’s wearing the same ‘fit she had on while playing piano for Jimmy in the house. And then when she puts on the black fur coat – I’ll say it again – MAJESTIC. Oh yeah, and her hair is straight up black now btw. I did catch a shot of the Ashley photo that is in Jimmy’s locker – Season 1 Ashley in that Tommy Hilfiger dress (idk if that’s who it’s really by, it’s just who it makes me think of) looking like a TOTAL normie. Ashley is like, bitch, take that down. Anyway now we are at dinner and still in the same outfit. Good view of the spiky hair actually. And the next fit is a top with a kind of corset-y neckline and a mesh panel up top. This panel has holes in it and doesn’t look like it came that way, tbh. She wears a cardi over it. Then a couple more TBTs of old Ashley are shown from the yearbook. Then, we get a cute glimpse of her makeup, as she sits in her bathrobe contemplating whether to make everyone else happy (be a normie) or make herself happy (experiment). She decides to try making everyone else happy. So she wears a purple polo and a periwinkle zipup hoodie over top, with a cross body bag, jeans, and light makeup. Oh and I got a couple shots of her skit with Craig, wearing an apron and an awful wig. And for our LAST shot, the old Ashley is back, and she looks gorgeous, in this red lacy or velvety top and a long necklace.

Terri reads palms with a lotta jewelry, braids in her hair, and a grey v-neck under a grey zip-up hoodie. Ashley looking all hard but being all judgey. (I know it’s simply a stereotype that goths are into the dark arts but you’d at least think Ash would be a little more chill about it.) She wears that bad midi denim pencil skirt and chunky white tennies. Oh yeah, and her prediction is that Paige is gonna die, which is soon disproven but Terri is left in the dark worrying on that. The next day she’s in a horizontally-striped tee and a hooded vest, still sporting the braids. Oh yeah, also the cross body bag. I like to point those out as much as possible till they disappear. Next we see one of those striped, long sleeve polos that are awful. I also had to grab a shot of this Blackberry because well, it’s fashion in its own way right? Next we’re wearing another zip-up hoodie, with sweatpants and those white shoes. Terri staying true to her pajama-chic style.
